Best of luck with the application guys. I'd probably love it, but also wouldn't want to be away from my little dude and dudette.

Doing the Crystal Maze has long been a childhood dream, but I really wouldn't want to be that guy who fell off the log or thought set dressing was part of the puzzle or got locked in with Mumsey.

I dreamt of this last night. DavPaz sent me into a mystery game and Mumsy was there. As she beckoned me to sit down and pointed at her crystal ball, I shouted through tne door "I'm no tailor, but I think she's a medium", then woke myself up laughing.

No, definitely not. Had a great time, and all paid for by the public! ;)

Still haven't heard back from The Chase either despite being shortlisted when I went to audition.

You also need proof of identity too, so you'll need to send photos of driving licences/passports whatever.

Hmm, that form seems awfully like a data gathering exercise.

Fingers crossed that they don't have any other all-male, all-white, mid-30's teams!

I might move this to it's own thread.

Print out the application, smear mud all over your face, faceplant the page, then scan it back in and send it. Biometrics, innit.

I can't see anything like this on the site? In my experience they check all this if/when your application is successful.

Well, that's fucking annoying. When I first looked at the form last week, it definitely asked for a photo of an identity document, because I've spent the last week trying to collate such documents from members of my team.

Yes, it appears they've removed that requirement. Fuck-knockers.

That was at the Megabowl, wasn't it? I never did the Crystal Maze but I often went bowling or laser quest there.

The 'Crystal Maze' theme would make for awesome entrance music for my wedding or funeral (whichever comes first). That or the 'Jurassic Park' theme.
