Exactly. That's why Grim... targetted British Nervoso as he was one of those with the most money. He didn't anticipate BN off-loading some cash that night though.

That's what makes Grim... so suspect. He's clearly trying to hide in plain sight by being very vocal about stealing. If you let him get away with it he can just use the argument "Yeah, but I said I was a bit of a bugger, didn't I?" Plus, he clearly tried to muddy the waters with Cras and BN earlier when he's the kind of player who always knows the rules. This makes his little attempt to point fingers at Cras and BN a bit suspect in my eyes. And even if he is Town, which I doubt at this stage, his actions are entirely anti-town. We all want to win for self but we still need a town win first and foremost.

Mind you, whoever stole from DavPaz was obviously doing it for the LULZ.

Not particularly. 50 will be chump change later in the game, when people are stealing 200-300 from each other in one night action. My goal at the moment is to stay in the game and not present too much of a target.

I donated to the player with the least money because it seems doubtful they're mafia, unless its a clever rouse.

I may regret asking, but why is donating considered being considered shady?

Erm, it's not a great thing to be doing, right? You're passign money off to stay in the game with the intention of stealing it off someone later. It's not exactly giving the impression that you're a good samaritan working for the town.

I'm a townie, so staying in the game is obviously in the town's interests!

Investing for the town is all well and good, but the more money is in the game at crunch time (i.e. the last one or two mafia vs the last few townies) the more difficult it will be for the town, because stealing will become so f***ing powerful. So much so that introducing money at this point feels like making the end-game more volatile.

Well, we've got until 2pm, so I guess I'd better stick my money where my mouth is regarding my "list of rich people from last night", and Saturnalian is being too funny with his pictures to vote off, so choosing randomly from the other three gives me...

You're gathering all the town's money in one place, which just makes it easier for the mafia to steal it. Stealing off the mafia would be fine, but statistically that's less likely.

I think that if the Mafia get the majority they are likely to win, as they can coordinate (depending on numbers) and make sure they steal off different people on the last night to maximise profits.

So we need to kill them.
