<1.99> on Riptide GP 2 for Android and <1.93> on more hidden object adventure nonsense. Riptide 2 will undoubtedly be gorgeous and will play well but hopefully they'll have sorted out the structure of the game. In the original, once you'd got gold on a course at any CC, it was just marked as done so you had no way of telling which level you'd won that course at which was a pretty glaring oversight.

It's a difficult to describe explore-em-up that's been on my list for the PC since I enjoyed the demo a while back and I just noticed it pop up on android so couldn't resist grabbing it for tablet gaming in bed. It's an incredibly atmospheric games with a really distinctive look. More details here:

In case anyone gives a shit: it turns out the control for Kairo are fucking awful just like they are for the iOS version so it's a bit difficult to control. It's a bizarre control method and smacks of utter laziness on the part of the developers so fuck them; don't buy it.

I dunno, only a few people have gone above the £300 mark with the vast majority of folks sitting under 100. Considering the number of hours of entertainment gaming provides I think that's a ludicrously low amount of money to spend.

It started off really good, but shortly after you hit the level cap for the free version the difficulty really spikes. The last couple of random encounters have been a total nightmare and I've ended up just having to avoid fighting which sucks. They throw an absolute shitload of enemies at you, all with different attack patterns some of which can't really be avoided, and add in background hazards that sap your energy completely which makes it into a bit of a grind. I'm going to persevere a bit with it but if stays as frustrating as it is right now then it'll be getting uninstalled. This could just be me being shite though of course and you get a generous amount of gameplay before you need to unlock the full game so it's worth giving it a shot to see what you think.

Yeah, I was thoroughly enjoying it up to that point to be fair so I'm hoping I can get back into it but it's pretty frustrating at the moment.
