I always figured you had to catch the first post to guarantee next day delivery with a first class stamp.

The heel part of my shoe just literally fell off. Fairly new shoes too.

Good job they opened a TK Maxx next door to my office.

Let's try this!

PM me your address and I'll stick a card of a man on a rocket powered jet ski in the post tonight in time for the half five post.

The money I found last week turned out to belong to a bewildered man who had purchased approx 40 bottles of water and nothing else as I saw them hand the money back to him when I left the store. He was so confused he didn't even know he had not got his change.

ARSE.

It seems that yesterday I accidentally ran a recursive chmod and chown on /var/lib on our development server, and it's fucked everything.

Fortunately not the production server, and backups will restore it, but fuck I don't need this shit, not today.

Blinkin' 'eck, Mali. First you give us a warning so early we'll all forget about it and now you're giving us a warning too late to do anything. You're useless.

I sent my card two days ago, because I luffs my mum.

Science has dictated I sit MrsA by a piano with a "if you do not ask to play this piano, or play it badly, you must buy the bar staff a drink" sign on it and feed her 5.1% beer. So far, nothing. Disappointed.

Ah, i have a Gamecube. And American F-Zero. I'll have to get an AR in too.

Just got back from rugby. Leeds got smushed. It was no fun. Plus, at some point, my back went painful. That's not good.

What's the budget? I've just come back from a weekend in Nottingham with quad biking and "laser tag" (paintball without paintballs) which included Friday and Saturday night in a hotel, minibus hire to ferry people there and back and dinner at Hooters for £200 per head.

So, I was always under the impression that ZZ Top were an irrelevant bunch of aged tits with terrible beards. The American Status Quo, if you will. I've no idea where I got that opinion from admittedly, but it's what I thought.

Then I heard this. Ignore the ridiculous women in hot pants because it's a given how idiotic their inclusion is. That aside, that's a seriously fucking brilliant tune! Have I always been wrong about the quality of ZZ Top's output or have they only recently recently raised their game? Help me out here Beex, because my mind is blown by how good that tune is!

I wouldn't say that's particularly out of character for them. But then again, I am maybe rather biased, as I do rather quite like that sort of crunchy southern blues music.

(If nything, I'd say their most famous stuff from the 80s is the most uncharacteristic...)

Have the stag do in your home town.

Drink cheap shit like Electric White.

Have a chippy.

Chase the groom around with a broom handle covered in dog shit.

Their early stuff rules: Tres Hombres and Tejas especially.
The 80s stuff was brub.
In the 90s, they had Rhythmeen, which was good.
I can imagine the new one being good, but haven't heard it yet.

Just watched the video. Yeah, that's proper ZZ Top. I'll have to buy that.

Dude is sounding weirdly like Mark Lanegan at this point.

And I'm ignoring the women... why, exactly?
