Operation "take iphone 4 apart and put it back together again and have it still work" was a resounding success.
Operation "fix iphone 4 home button" less so. Now with the new button in it doesn't work at all, woo! I suspect it is a fault in the logic board side of the connector rather than the button itself, which is a bit or an arse, as that isn't replaceable.

I'll whack it on ebay under spares or repair and see what it goes for.

Went to watch a snooker contest last night, some shoot out format ten minute frames. It was good, was sat in a bit where there were a load of snooker managers, some of the players and Simon Weston! Seemed like a really nice bloke, as did the players.
