I got my grades earlier and had to work out the average myself, but I just got an email that specifically says "distinction".

Now I need to get myself a training contract and properly start my life. Finally!

(A distinction is the equivalent to a First in degree speak, or an "A" I guess.)

I'd like to think that if John Grisham chose to vary the formulaic nature of his books, which focus on a law student who had problems which delayed his studies, but against the odds passed with flying colours, and was immediately thrown into a massive high profile case against EvilMegaCorp and won against the odds - by making the lead character english, he'd call him Wogans Trouser Bulge.

As for the woman, she said she wasn't sure if he was conservative, I suspect she couldn't think of anyone else, and remembered that he had been chancellor, so was worth a punt.

Try taking the brackets off that?

Aren't you meant to put the file name into the workbooks object, though?

Solved it - in my messing around I changed
Dim wbk As Workbook to Dim wbk As Workbooks
It works without the brackets. Thanks all.
