Watched Stardust. Made my day. Fucking LOVE Stardust. I'm actually surprised people bothered making films after 2007. Also, beer is nice, and I've had too much recently, so will slow down over Christmas.

Always nice to come to a wonderful film and hear if an even better book. It's why I always tell people to watch Papillon before reading the book. No, it really is. It's a very similar "grown up", wry take on a fairy tale, as well as simultaneously being ridiculously sweet and endearing.

Stardust is ridiculously sweet and endearing, and it's acted brilliantly all the way through. It does also have the unfortunate consequence of whenever the word 'Victoria' is said, it is immediately suffixed by 'that bitch', (which also works with 'Sienna Miller, that bitch' and 'Kiera Knightly, that bitch') but this is a slight digression. the whole film is like having all of your best friends around for an afternoon of awesome, with tea and cakes. Clare Danes is EPIC in it, as are all the cast, even Gervais ('the fat knob'). So, yeah. Hum. Anyway, it's not too raining here today so I've got to make my daily trip to the post office and sort some stuff out.

I gave Old Man Afterthought Halo 3, CoDBLOPS and GTA4 to take home with him. Should keep him entertained for a while. If he gets bored of Skyrim. He wanted to borrow take Dead Rising, but I convinced him not to. They seemed to like it up here, and stuff, but we'll have moved again by the time they revisit. It’s super busy here too which is annoying the hell out of me.. I’ve responded by reading about the Nokia Lumia all morning and doing no work.

I haven't really done any work since last Monday when I was in that London for a project briefing. Said project doesn't begin until Jan so I'm kinda on extended hols until then.

The paperwork has arrived for both my January projects, but the cases aren't available for download, so I can't do anything much other than working out my travel arrangements, practice interviews and playing with the urine and saliva sample kits for now.
