I know journalism isn't by far what it used to be, but nowadays, it is terrible that they explain why they didn't ask X,Y or Z as they were afraid of the interview ending.

Like those people who write to the Times to announce they've heard the first cuckoo of spring, I heard the first Slade of the season yesterday. Came slightly later than last year, I think, although it was being sung by a toy dog.

Off work today. Sick wife and child. Not feeling great myself. Just had an argument with a binman.

Guitars hold their value pretty well. I've probably got to unload my starter electric at some point, and have no fear I'll get back easily as much as I paid for it.
I started by playing about half an hour every other day or so. Now I don't even play every week sometimes, but I'm glad I can pick it up and strum a few notes when I want to.

Once you can play the chords G, C, A and D, you've pretty much got the tools to play any song, ever.

Being able to play the guitar is nice, even if it is just you you're playing for, I'm pleased I've picked it up again.
