I really hope we can have some more stock races in the future...a full race would be ace, may be longer* so we have to pit. Even with only 4 of us I still had a good time.
You would, you won
It was only on the final lap I realized you might try that, and couldn't think of any strategy that wouldn't have been unsportsmanlike.

Besides, it would be a shame not to use our custom cars again, particularly loopy who I think used the arcade car instead of his own from garage.
Didn't he say he had painted it, but for some reason it wasn't showing up properly? Hence it's also white in my screenshots.

It would be interesting if you could change the fuel capacity to half or a quarter.
Yeah, maybe in Forza 4?

Yeah, I know. You can imagine me being a bit staggered that out of ten people who originally expressed interest, four actually turned up. I'm sure there's some truism or statistic or something to say that's a good ratio, but I'm also sure there's one for 'know when to quit'. I also hadn't been aware Top Gear started again last night.
Like I said, this was an experiment and it's one that hasn't turned out as well as I thought. After all, we've discovered:
-Benchmark has no pit lane
-Tire wear and fuel consumption is now part of the 'damage' setting, so you can't have one without the other.
-Crashing is still race-ending with damage on, as with fucked bodywork you'll have a lower top speed even after having the mechanical parts repaired.
-herding cats

Once you've finished you should all sell your cars on the "stock" market.
We could send them to where you live.
