It's a big problem because the Heineken has soaked through the upper road surface and is saturating the hard core underneath. Other beers wouldn't have reached.

Luckily, the emergency services will hang in there until the bitter end. They're stout fellows, and no mistake. I've met a couple of them, and they're all lager than life characters.

:this: is still the response that made me laugh most. But it only works if you read it the way I read it in my head.

Edit : Had to put a not particularly magic e at the end of response, because I didn't originally.

Ah well-never mind! If all else fails I shall just get drunk and things seem to work out mighty-fine anyway :)

Spaz-mode over

I've just been to see 'Changeling' with 4 of my amigos.

Angie-fishlips-Jolie in it and she was really good! It was a very sad film-

Brief outline:

It's 1929 (or thereabouts)

A woman reports her child is missing, the police investigate and bring back her child...
only she says it isn't her child! ZOMG!

It was very sad in places and quite serious with bits of dark humour in it, splashed like my tonic in my gin, just enough :)

Me and Wes laughed out heads off because a woman returning to her seat walked right into the wall because she was concentrating on the film. I know it was mean to laugh, but still, it was funny as fuck :DD

Well that's lucky, it's been dark for 3 hours by that point, who knows what might have happened.

Just killed my router via the medium of doing a firmware upgrade. Won't even reset to Factory Default. (Netgear DG834PN).

Following the example of our leader, Grim... MaliA now also has a moustache. Also most good for the "Dress up as the army" competition. Off into oxford in about 3 mins if anyone wants a beer abround 1530 -1600hrs. Usual communications methods apply.

Last night's dream involved a new series of the A-Team but with Bruce Forsythe playing the part of Hannibal. Mr T kept hugging his van outside Bill Bailey's palatial castle-like apartment in Skegness. Bill Bailey watched them from a glass lift in his castle. While gurning.

Why do I bother? I saw there was a new level for Pain in the PS3 store, so I paid my £3.99 and waited while the 37MB downloaded and installed. Didn't take too long, but when I started Pain it said I had to download another 211MB update before I could play the game. No choice, it was mandatory.

So here I am, sitting on the sofa, waiting for a huge bloody patch to download. Unlike other downloads, you even set this to download in the background while you do other stuff.

Will I actually get to play the game today? Who knows?

Yeah, the PS3 is bloody awful for that. Hour long system updates, having to utterly pointlessly "Install" every single download before you can use it...

Have you tried running the Netgear Recovery Tool? It's built to deal with these situations.

Clicky

ProTip : If it doesn't work, try it again, maybe up to around 10 to 15 times. It's trying to do some low level packet stuff and it doesn't always respond in time.

I bought Mirror's Edge for 30 notes today. Forgot my student card, which would have made it 27. BUggar.

Not played it yet as Mrs is watching X factor and local pub is holding a BNP skinhead punk band night.

What's that? You'd like a hidef total remake of Half-Life in the Source engine with dizzying production values? Oh, go on then.

Want to bet these guys get bought by Valve in the near future?
