I enjoyed it a lot, but I'm not convinced I found it that funny.

The first episode was very good.

I enjoyed it, be interesting to see how it develops and how they deal with the usual time travel conundrums.

Gah, I hate once a week TV. But, I also hate binge watching everything until past my bedtime and then being not only sleepy as fuck but also having nothing to watch.

First world problems.

Totally this, there isn't a weakly written or acted character in the whole thing, it's pretty much pitch perfect throughout and you really get the feeling everyone's having fun with it.

I'm sure I've seen some of them come very close to corpsing on several occasions.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The moral quandary about eating the Nazi in the wheelchair is a wonderful slice of surreal brilliance.

Finished this. Bloody marvellous. An absolute riot from start to finish.

Focus groups have determined more praise and positive interactions registers favourably with target demographics. I find it wearing, too.

Watched the first two episodes of S2 of Santa Clarita Diet tonight. Y’all are right; that’s some top quality funny shit. The whole cast is brilliant.

I was genuinely struggling for TV to watch a few weeks back and I've now got S2 of Jessica Jones, Santa Clarita Diet, Bojack Horseman, Legion, Counterpart and Killing Eve vying for my attention. You guys are killing me.

We've just about finished watching Wild Wild Country. Great documentary. Fucking nuts/10.

I can't believe I never knew anything about this whole bizarre episode.

Legion Series Two.

Entered the first episode worried that it wouldn’t be as crazy as last season.

Well, those worries have been dispelled and then some.

I have concerns about that. Even the second series of the UK show didn't quite manage the lightning-in-a-bottle of the first one. I think a US adaption might be bad.

Yeah, I mean I'm not saying it'll necessarily be any good given how often these adaptions come out terrible.

Having never seen the original and only really being aware of it through Simpson’s references, what do you reckon I’d make of it?

Yeah I think we're up to about eight. It's good. One thing I've been struck by is that the look and the design of it all, the sets, the robot, the vehicles and ships, even all the costumes are all amazingly good.

I can only vaguely remember the original and not with any great degree of fondness. This is better.

Well, apart from my Bad Joke that you ignored, I seriously doubt there's any carry over from the technicoloured ultra-camp 60's original. I did enjoy Gary Oldman in the 90s movie though. Until he inevitably got replaced by bad CGI. Sigh, those 90s, eh?

I enjoyed the original. I remember repeats being shown on C4 after the Walton's on Sundays (which I did not watch).

Also Land of the Giants.

Same. Also THE INVADERS!

and OG Star Trek. I associate all of these with Sunday afternoon. Later on, Babylon 5 took the Sunday afternoon spot.

Very much in Michael Jackson killed a whale in the Thames territory, but American Crime Story is great! Brilliantly written and acted.

It’s fab! There’s another one on BBC at the moment about the killing of Gianni Versace. It’s a bit different in form as there’s no courtroom aspect and not solely about that one killing, but does focus on one perpetrator.

It’s worth looking at the comparisons between the cast and real people just to see how amazingly close theyve cast some people to their real life counterparts.

In continuing "Chris watching Friends" news - the one with the wedding to ghastly Helen Baxendale is great - Hugh Laurie in particular. "By the way, it seems to be perfectly clear that you were on a break". Also Jennifer Saunders.
