I have started drinking a lot of fizzy water., after i have lost the taste for diet drinks.

I can get 2 litre bottles from Aldi for 17p. It just seems a lot of waste as I have recycle 4 bottles a week.

Has any one got a soda stream, and how much does it work out to produce the fizzy water?

I don't really see what's wrong with the Aldi option as you're recycling the bottles anyway.

Apple Tango is most expensive, but I prefer Orange Tango anyway.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The sodastream will cost roughly £50 to buy, and costs 17p per litre for sparkling water.

I'm pretty sure that's put this one to bed ;)

Some options there. I'd just keep buying the stuff from Aldi.

Anyone seen that Soda Stream advert with Amy from Big Bang and Hodor? I caught it today and it was the weirdest thing I've seen in a while. Especially since I thought the actress who plays Amy looked hot.

I mean, having a device in your house is obviously more convenient - until you want to whack a couple of bottles into the fridge.

It's pronounced Wat-a over here. You'll have to get used to that first.

I'm keen to hear the answer - is fizzy Bovril good? Is it even possible? It's a real cliffhanger if ever I saw one.

(I'm guessing that no, it's not good)

I remember us getting a Soda Stream in the 1980's. We were quite surprised as my parents were quite strict with us over sweets and sugar.

So of course we went nuts and then I remember the syrup never really getting replaced regularly aside from Christmas. Then after a few years the soda stream was put in the garage.

Reckon my Dad must have liked the idea of the gadget then realised it wasn't a good fit with the household sugar rules!

This clip, from 1:45 to 3:20, sums soda streams up for me. We knew someone who had one when we were kids but never had one ourselves.
