Sorry for being so rusty last night. Finally got the hang of getting in cars rather than getting on them in the end.

Like all the new stuff that's going on. Is there anything (guns/cars/apartments/etc) that I should be getting jiggy with? I'll try and get organised with goodies for next time.

How do you get that jet in the game? Is there a way of getting it in single player that doesn't involve breaking into the military base?

Do lots of missions... or buy some using real money.

I think there's a mission where you get one, but breaking into the MB is incredibly simple so just do that.

Also what is single player?

I've got $5.5 million in my bank account and I haven't touched the single player game once. I spend a lot of my time buying clothes and getting my hair cut.

It was a PS3 game I finished four years ago when I was still married.

Grind, or pay cash. Most of us went down the latter route in the end because there was a good deal on the in-game currency over Christmas. (It's pretty expensive normally.)

If you bought the game on download, you got free fake dough. The only remaining part of the plan was to then sell on the disc copy to some poor schlub on the internet.

As a counterpoint, I have not bought fake dough (on this game anyway), have about $800k saved from just doing random shit, and don't feel it has negatively affected my enjoyment in any way.

But having other people who have their Coke labs and offices and shit adds more options for gameplay.

That's a good point. A lot of my money came from doing Heists which you need an apartment for (or something.. I can't remember) I only own a little house but one of my friends helped out here.

Last night we discovered that if you're driving a car in first person mode and hit the horn, the drivers hand actually hits the horn. Which was cool

We also discovered that it's rather difficult to recover a botched Titan landing attempt in first person mode.

Also to ramp a bus into the airport in first person mode

Is there any way of stealing cash off of other players?

Not really. If they have cash they haven't deposited in an ATM, they'll drop a very small amount when they die -- a few hundred dollars I think (online reports vary and it's changed over time.) Basically insignificant.
