The company I work for are giving away various prizes over the next 25 days, and donating money to Hope House too for each person that plays our little Chrimbo game.

Unplayable on my iPad, the 2nd image disappears too quickly, you can barely see it at all (sometimes not at all)

But they've all got something which you can recognize in a split second. Gazchap and Jem are easy but then you've got boss lady, Monitor chap, bar lady and the head teacher from the inbetweeners.

That's how I do it anyway.

I'm not exactly being serious. It's just not one of the things I've ever been good at.

One of my biggest regrets is when I when I had a girlfriend who was a twin and for some reason at a fancy dress party they swapped clothes (at the behest of the other twin's boyfriend's mum, or something) and both stood in front of me, I didn't lean over the sister and pretend to not know it wasn't my beloved and panically whisper "We've got to tell her about the accident...".

How have you managed that?

Also, the daily prize winner is picked from the entry list at random, it's not time based ;)

Strange, I didn't see that in the T's and C's? ;) I thought it might be though... Are we only allowed one entry?

Presumably the same way I did (if it worked). Did you get an entry from me for around 14 seconds?

There's a lot of ways - easiest is to put a breakpoint on 584 to get the cards list, find a set of matching pairs in the array and have jQuery click them for you to start the game
Code:
$("#game-container #container").find("div:nth-child(x)").click(); $("#game-container #container").find("div:nth-child(y)").click();
and have another breakpoint on 636 so you can adjust the values of `counter` and `cc` to make yourself win.

I was tempted to make a little AI bot to play "properly" it but I thought it might mean you had to pay loads of money to charity so I didn't :)

You can play as many times as you like, but only one entry will be counted. Terms are here, although if that's not linked on the page itself I'll hit someone.

Ah, yeah - I took some rudimentary steps to avoid cheats (obfuscating the data attributes that contain the card references for example) but yeah, probably still l337 h4x available.

Yeah, please don't do any botting ;)

Agreed. The general terms and conditions of your web marketing services are linked, but not the competition ones you linked above.

Challenge accepted. If you're doing IP checking we have a LOT of external IPs and I'm very good at cycling them.

I have practically infinite email addresses. I will have to choose which prize I like the most.

Yes, although it does also say that the judge's decision is final... ;)

Anyway - we've just done the draw for today and it's only bloody TheVision that's won it. Our office manager will be in touch with details of prize claimage.

Which - I believe - is a mistake. At least for surveys, if you say that then you also have to give the judging criteria, and you can't say something is random (because it's not).

Also your judge will be too busy frantically deleting emails ;)

Are we going to have to get the competition and markets authority involved to get this shut down? I would hate to see them breaking the rules just to raise some money for charity.

Yeah, that's a fair point, I'll perhaps re-word it.
