Whilst nosing through the old cottage thread looking to see if I posted about that curryhouse, I found a note from Jasmine to "remember to bring towels." Have I somehow totally forgotten it doesn't have towels? So just in case anyone else is the same: bring a towel, I guess.

As someone with extensive knowledge of the asdas towel selection, I can confirm you should bring a towel.

I typed 'Indian Restaurant Derby' into Google and it was the first picture.

For the last half-decade I've always looked forward to this weekend, even if calling it 'the official end of summer' is stretching our idea of British seasons a bit too much. All the previous five do merge into a hazy blur for me now, however.

I literally mentioned that to Grim... a few hours ago. I think it would be great, but I have nothing that could run it. Note that you need to print the 26 page manual out first, though.

That looks like great fun! Will it not just run on a laptop?

Also yes to needing towels. I've packed some for the downstairs loo. Gaywood, do you want me to bring you a towel for the shower so you don't have to carry one on the train?

Actually, it seems it will now (but only on Windows) -- it no longer requires an Oculus.

Nah, I'll be fine, I can cram that into my case. Thanks though!

I can't see how an Occulus would make sense, but I guess it would stop you from cheating.

Stops the player with the paper manual from seeing the bomb; otherwise they just work out what to do and bark orders at the player with the controls. You can replicate this by turning the screen of course!

I imagine it's as much fun to watch as it is to play.

Do you mean you have lost your guest or that you're not going? Because assuming that you are indeed '1' yourself, you (1) - 1 = 0.

I think you mean the former, but just wondered if you were still going :)

I have just purchased Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, and will bring my laptop and a 360 controller with me.

Plus the bomb manual, if I can print it out tomorrow without the boss noticing ;)

I was watching two people play this in work today and they were like a well-oiled machine. "First wire black!" "Cut if it goes to A or C." "Second wire blue!" "Cut if it goes go 1 or 2."

I am sure we will be... less good.

I just gave it a test run to see how well it worked on my laptop (answer: perfectly) and despite not having read, or having access to the bomb manual I managed to correctly do 2 of the 3 modules on the bomb.

After looking at the manual afterwards, my chances of doing so were approximately a squintillion to one.
