I'm back from the clinic! To find out more, check out the hashtag #RTVday on twitter.

I was only in there for about 15 minutes. What a strange morning.

That went a while ago I'm afraid.. I had my fun with it but all good things must come to an end.

My brother has grown one now though. He looks like Noah. It's amazing!

Exactly.

The hidden costs of stuff. The Dicks. You get a bed and a mattress from argos.

Nope, you spend a few thousand on all sorts of bed, mattress, topper, pillows, nice sheets because it's where you spend an entire third of your life.

Indeed. And if you want to save money you use someone like http://beds.monsterbeds.co.uk. My current bed and mattress were from there and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I can't tell if this is really a post about whether they shave a man's testiballs before a vasectomy.

Glad it all went quickly. Fingers crossed for a quick and painless recovery.

Don't worry, so far I'm doing fine. It's a little bit achy but nothing serious. It's feels like someone has flicked me in the balls.

What was weird was seeing the doctor pull at my tubes! That was strange.

Whereas I had the opposite experience. Both the super king size bed and mattress I bought from there were utter shite. The bed wasn't structurally sound and kept popping slats, or they just plain broke, and the mattress they sold to me as the right size for that bed was too small (despite being a super king mattress).

They replaced the mattress and send me a stock of slats - so the customer service was great - but the bed itself was awful. :S

Our bed is epic, but it cost a billion pounds from a specialist back pain centre.

I did also get my pillow there, which is my absolute favourite thing I own. I love my pillow.

Mrs C has crumbling discs :( so we have no choice but to have a mega bed. Bought a Tempur mattress about 5 years ago and a very high quality timber sleigh bed and it's awesome I must admit.

I was there at the weekend. If you're going with children (or even if you're not, TBH) I can't recommend this show enough:

https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/funz-and-gamez-tooz

Absolutely brilliant. Ostensibly a kids entertainment show but really a show for adults. Very very funny and my 3.5 year old loved it.

Visiting sister in law, but hoping to catch some shows.

If you fancy meeting up for a swift half we could do so, but scheduling things may be tricky. As the sil has a1 yr old and we have the 1/2 yr old!

We're heading through around lunchtime on Saturday and we haven't totally decided on our schedule yet but might go and see Bec Hill at 1730, Susie McCabe at 1910 and Shit faced Shakespeare at 2135. That'll give us plenty of time between shows for drinks :)
We're also thinking about going to this undefined, it's a silent disco walking tour and it looks like great fun :)

Stick in Newcastle due to fatality on line.

I know that statistically this is suggested, and it's why we tell him he should try and just hang on in there, but I do sometimes wonder if it is partly self-fulfilling prophecy on the part of both parents and teachers, so we won't be disappointed if he springs into the world earlier. His due date isn't until September 11th, so he has a good likelihood of arriving afterwards.

Basically, don't have sex until after Christmas, folks. ;)

My eldest and youngest sons are both born in early July, so not quite the youngest, but certainly amongst the youngest in their classes.

My eldest took his GCSEs last year and was mostly A* A and B, we should find out his A2 results this week where he is hoping for As and A*s and is studying for grade 6 piano.

My youngest son is in top set for pretty much all his subjects and is studying for his grade 4 piano.

So yeah, more likely does not mean will happen.

:)

My Eldest son got AAB at his A2s with his teacher suggesting he asks for a recount on the B, as it seems that one of the three papers he did for that exam was a C and the other two were As. Don't know if anything will come of it.

In his 4th exam he got a U, which given the results in the other papers is quite impressive I think, and perhaps shows he wasn't so interested in that course!

Try and catch Festival of the Spoken Nerd at the Fringe if you can. They're very funny.

Hmmm. I was about to point out that you can delete posts if you need to but now I'm looking I can't find the option. I'm sure I've done it on the mobile skin before, is this really only available there?

Test edit.

It's only possible if noone else has posted, and is a checkbox at the top of both mobile and non mobile skins.

I was totally convinced that I'd deleted posts in the middle of threads before but given that I can't find the option even on the mobile skin I'm obviously delusional, which is worrying.

ETA: Aha! I just got a delete button on this post! It must be that directly after posting you get a delete button but once you move off and do something else it doesn't come back.

ETA2: Or it's a timer thing and you can only delete posts within X seconds of posting them.

That's because (as Dave has said) someone has since posted after you.

It's not a timer, but you can only delete your post if that post is the last one made in that thread. :)

Oh, wait, when you said "It's only possible if noone else has posted" I thought you meant if you'd posted a new thread and no one else had replied yet but you just meant if your post was the most recent in any given thread. Yeah, sorry, that makes sense.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Apparently Rick Astley has only made $12 in royalties from all the rickrolling plays of his video because he was only the eprformer and not the writer.

Arf!
