Congratulations on your buy 2 get 1 free surgery (or 'surfer', if we're all swapping over to Mimi's lovely world) and hope you recover well and (relatively?) painlessly.

Hey Zardoz, just wanted to send our best wishes from Germany, I completely missed all of this (a cousin of mine in the UK had similar problems, so I know it's a bit of a bummer, to put it mildly, but as a bit of a bummer yourself, you probably had less trouble with it). Sorry, awful joke, couldn't think of anything else to write. Glad to hear you're on the mend, so an only-ever-so-slightly gay hug from me).

I bet you're in a bit of a state after any kind of major surfer so it's really glob reet to see your wirds :) xxxx

Have you been drinking??

No, I guess I was tired :/

I hope it was apparent that I'm just really happy Zardoz is well. He looked after me when I needed a wee and it was too dark for me to find my way to the loo because I have squiffy eyes, so obviously I luffs him.

Thanks guys!

Zardoz - It was a general feeling from the interview. I had totally been unable to answer one of their questions and they had seemed disinterested in my answers Vs the answers of the girl I was with (they seemed to praise her for saying things that I had said first too). On reflection, I do wonder if that was because many of the questions asked were about issues that I would have dealt with on a daily basis (and they know this) almost making the interview, not so much a formality, but perhaps more geared to a university leaver. They could have very easily found out if I was suitable for the course by speaking to the managers/others at work too, so it's possible that they already knew everything they wanted to, but had boxes to tick.

I haven't had my official letter yet anyway, so there is still a little bit of wondering...
