Hi all. I would like to use my old JohnCoffey account (because it has muff cabbage on it) but sadly my password has been long forgotten. The issue is that I changed ISP and therefore can not reset my password by email.

Is there anything the admins can do? IE - change the email on the account so I can sort it out?

I would appreciate it cheers :D

You'll need to tell us the new email address, I'd imagine.

Can't I just change the password to something simple, then Mayslanding can log in and change what he needs to?

Yup.

You could change it to something complicated, if you like. NO RULES!

I think if you do change the email address it might deactivate the account again and one of us will have to pop in and reactivate it. I think.

I use mine but purely for eBay. I get hundreds of emails off them so I don't check it regularly.

I guess because it was easy. Laughably though the email address I've had the longest is actually a MSN account (previously hotmail). It's been the easiest because I can access it anywhere. Not that that's been a problem for the past few years but I did used to get about a bit.

I do have one with Talktalk which I've had for ages.

I remember the license key for Compaq Lights-Out Remote Insight boards and the equation of a parabolic trajectory.

When would you ever need an equation for a parabolic trajectory, Cras?

Turns out, not in my a-level mechanics exam. Our teacher was teaching us how to derive the equation from various other associated equations. I objected and said why not just memorise it, and he said you'll never do that, it's too complex. So I memorised it just to prove him wrong. Then the exam came up and it was written on the fucking exam paper. He just stood behind me in the exam hall and laughed at me for about 10 minutes. Dick.

I still reckon that's a runner, and the government is just hiding it along with cold fusion.

My lady wife and I have resided in this flat for 18 months now and I still don't know our landline number off by heart. Every time I'm on the phone and I need it I have to ask her

And my mobile number? haha I don't even know the dialling code. In the year I have had it I don't think I've even looked to see what it is.

It's quite nice being private. Got rid of Facebook and everything else and just live in my little bubble :)

It's quite entertaining when we get phone calls on the landline.
Given that we don't even know the number, let alone anyone else, you absolutely know it's a spam call.

This is exactly us, but with the addition of calls from Auntie Joan.

Auntie Joan is not my Auntie Joan, nor Russell's. She's somebody's auntie Joan, but instead of calling them she calls us. Often.

I'm looking forward to moving house and not giving out my landline number to anyone.
Even with a spam call blocker in place I get at least one sales call a day.

I think that a lot of people only have a landline because you have to in order to get the internet.

Dave - cheers :)

Yes, exaclty that. We once even had a porn spam SMS sent to our landline number, which means you get the robot BT lady reading it out to you, which is pretty funny.
