Good evening.

If I've swamped your Twitter feed today I'm sorry but I've been in my dad's loft trying to find a complete set of the He-Man & Masters of the Universe sticker album which, apparently, my dad found and then hid from himself until I told him it might be worth a couple of hundred quid.

He's probably still up there now.

Anyway, he found some old Star Wars characters and junk including this magic piece of something. It could be worth anything up to a pound. The game? To identify what the hell it is.

I thought it was a bit of an AT-AT leg but it's apparently not.

Feel free to speculate wildly as to what it may be. The winner can have it. Assuming they want it...

Game on.

I don't think so. I'm sure there used to be two of these. Probably either side of something in the middle. I d definitely remember slotting them into each other while messing about.

I was wondering if either end is supposed to be a wheel.

Isn't it part of the smaller Walker with the button on the back that made its leg kick?

Can't be. I never had that. Plus, it's quite a big piece probably about 8 inches long.

Those octagon holes scream building kit to me. Something like Robotix, but that's the only one I can think of.

You should ask reddit

Y'know, I'm starting to think you're right. I've been through the whole list on http://www.rebelscum.com/ch-vint.asp and there's nothing that looks like what this thing looks like.

I'd put a sticker on the inside so I don't think its a generic "lego"-like thing. Maybe it's not Star Wars after all!? Who knows.

I haven't got a reddit account but if anyone with rep wants to put it up, that'd be aces. Redditers are good at this kind of thing I suppose.

If no-one has nailed it by tomorrow, I'll stick it up on Reddit and get ignored and get a thorough answer.

Amazing. Thanks for doing that!

I can't help but feel it's been somewhat anticlimactic.

I've asked my pops about Robotix and he has no idea. I can't remember them either. :S

I had the Death Star y'know. The cardboard one with all the bits in it. I'm mega disappointed that can't be found. And the AT-AT.

Man, 80's toys were the best ever.
