Yeah but he assigned allegiances, and now they've changed, so /something/ weird is going on and I just don't believe he'd have assigned a cult/mafia combo, so what else?

Unless.. what if there was a cult leader, he targeted Robert, Robert is mafia, used the cult recruit against cult leader, cult leader now mafia, and so there's no longer a cult?

How come we have so many investigators but so little info? I can only assume that GJ has something and TFF is a baddie.

We need to do something, even if it's to get some chatter or info, so I'm voting [vote: thefirefaerie]

The investigators need to choose the time to reveal info carefully. If they roleclaim and give a small amount of info early, it might be worse for the town than waiting a few days and being able to impart more knowledge.

But you already know this. [vote: Saturnalian]

2 townies get killed overnight, there's apparently an equal number of Mafia to town and a neutral who is clearly not exactly neutral as he's killing folk; there's no finger pointing going on despite the fact that the voting is scewed by some secret vote or other and NOT having any information is a GOOD thing?

I get ya. Great story bro.

Well, TFF for starters. I didn't specifically ask GJ to reveal anything but forcing TFF to role claim might help.

Well, role claiming isn't going to help us at all. We need faction claims, and I'm fairly sure everybody is going to say "town".

Only you, no one has ever confirmed Gaz. and he's the one that confirmed you. So actually until we know for sure that Gaz is town and isn't playing us we don't know for sure that you are, either

It's something, but it would be better coming from another investigator role! Still, I'm not FOSing you two at the moment, I'm more on the lines of the random GJ vote bomb and Sat's jumping on the bandwagon with nothing to go on, plus the rather rash idea that everyone should role claim and risk getting killed off

Sat is being a bit rash, but he is right about the numbers, isn't he? We can't afford to lose two townies tonight.

Where's this extra kill coming from?

If we assume we have a serial killer in our midst, that explains one kill.

What about the other? It's been fairly well reasoned that the Mafia having kill and recruit capabilities would make them far too overpowered, so it seems unlikely they killed.

Could the SK be capable of killing twice in one night? Seems unlikely too.

Could one of the town roles have a kill action? This seems the most likely, but without further information on who they should target they're just shooting in the dark.

Correct - from a logical perspective, if I was lying about my power but was Mafia, I'd know you were town anyway so it doesn't really mean much.

Ideally I'll survive the night and be able to identify a bad guy for us to get rid of.

Or someone's got a random ability and it happened to kill someone last night. We just don't know.

Perhaps it is time people revealed some info - we need to get a baddie today.

Possibly the Random person ?

Quote:
If targeted take a list of all the night actions available in the current game and have a random action occur against the person who targeted them

Although neither of those killed at night seem to have a targeted action

Not voted: 6 (bobbyaro, gazchap, grim..., mr dave, thefirefaerie, zaphod79)

With 9 players alive, 5 votes are required for a lynch, and 5 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

I'd be happy to vote for GJ because of the "swoop in, vote for no real reason, swoop out" move, but there's not much point in doing so if I'm going to do so on my own.

Normally I'd say that it would be unfair on GJ as she's out all day so doesn't have a chance to explain her vote, but if the day times out at 7pm then I'm not sure we have any real choice.

We need to start trying to crack away at the bad guys.

Question is, do we assume that GJ has some sort of info on TFF which is the reason for the vote, or do we assume that GJ voted for nefarious reasons?

I'm happy to go either way.

So Bobby's roleclaiming as Mr Dave, then.

[vote:Grim...] pending any counterclaims.

Current status:

GazChap: Town, Psychic Steve
Bobbyaro: Town(?), Mr Dave
Future Warrior: Town, role unknown

Unfortunately, I fear he's been duped - although the claim on Myp is somewhat coincidental.

True - although we still have no way of verifying any of this until any of GazChap, Grim.. or Future Warrior is dead
