I think you'd be right to be a little suspicious.

It's not as if Batman, if not Russ, has that large a pool of people to hide in, given that the awesome mafia amongst them will be able to discount themselves from the pool.

Night 1: Grim... after leading the "fuck gazchap up" campaign, I wanted to see if we could trust him; we can (or at least could) - town
Night 2: Cras, random choice - town.
Night 3: Mr Russell, result - town!

Now remember I got Justice Droided last night, which means

Now, this in and of itself does not mean Russ is a scummy scummer, the fact he is a lying scummy scummer means that.

The role claims to date don't add up. I don't for a minute believe Grim... is Dr Alice Roberts, so why hasn't he counterclaimed any of the other town roleclaims?

I think Grim...'s Mafia, 'fuck Gazchap up' was an entirely believable ploy to establish credibility, and Bobby's roleclaim and investigation is impossible to disprove - we know I'm town, and Curio told Bobby that he justice droided him, so he just used that to 'prove' his own towniness.

I'm calling shenanigans.

Right, let me get this straight:
At the beginning of the day, you called Russ in a statement of logic - which made sense. Already covered, but basically Russ was investigated last night.
The basic assumption that Russ was investigated is that you are nightcunt and switched the role - we don't have that confirmed by anyone you are not known to be town - except by me who has investigated you.
After us, based on your logic, calling Russ out, he role claimed as Batman; He then came out with this:

He listed a load of people who had already roleclaimed and their roles were known:

1) Myp investigated Russ and he wasn't seen to do anything
when called on this, Russ says:

when called on this, Russ attempts to blame a GM mistake (lame!) and once again states he can not be investigated, or targeted

Dave's role isn't an investigation either and it is his primary role

So basically, I have confirmed you as townie - previously not confirmed, confirmed Grim.. as townie (both at time of investigation) and you prefer to believe Russ who's arguments make no sense, and that he has a passive ability to not be seen to do anything at all; even if it is completely counter to other people's explicit, primary abilities.
And finally, most of this argument hangs together on your claim as Nightcunt; if you don't believe me, why should the rest of the town, and given i have investigated you, why would they believe you are what i say they are?

Sounds like a joke, but ... maybe not just a joke.

Meanwhile I'm just kinda relying on my neutralness stopping anyone from trying to claim as me and in so doing getting me killed.
Because, you know, potentially an ally of whichever side is strongest. And also someone that the town wouldn't mind killing if push came to shove because it doesn't reduce their numbers, and also getting me killed doesn't reduce the towns numbers.
Along with the risk of not being able to correctly predict who might have visited you and in which order.

I honestly don't know any more. So it's likely Bobby, Grim, ______ that are Mafia, or Mr Russell, Zaphod, ________ it may just appear that way, but it's almost like two opposing factions.

Do people think Grim.... (Or anyone) is so bloodthirsty as Mafia as to sell another Mafia down the river from the off in purpose of providing alibi later? I really didn't think it likely, but this game is so mental as it might even be possible.

I was never informed of any passive action swap and therefore you are a liar or Mr Russ has no passive action. Better?
