All rumours...

Screen Size: 5.9-inches, 2K Resolution.
Performance: Snapdragon 805 Chipset
Camera: 13 Megapixel, Dual Flash, Optical Image Stabilisation
Front Facing Speakers
3200 mAh battery

It's basically a Note 4, but for a suspected half the price...

Nothing there that particularly makes me want to upgrade from a nexus 4

Bigger screen and better battery life not appeal?

Not enough to warrant spending >£50 or so.

I was about to be worried that I've already ordered my Note 4 but then I remembered the Nexus won't have an SD card slot which is a deal-breaker for me so fuck it. Though it does mean I'll essentially be paying about £300 quid for that and the privilege of having to install a separate launcher to get rid of the stench of Touchwiz, which is a bit pish.

What's the point of a 2K screen on a phone?

I can't even make out the individual pixels on my Nexus 5 which is 'only' 1080p.

Also the 5 inch screen on the Nexus 5 is just about at the limits of what I'd consider comfortable so I don't want to go any bigger than that.

In short, I think I'll be sticking with my Nexus 5 for the forseeable future, and besides which I got it on a two year contract about three or four months ago :D

Maybe I'll look at the Nexus 7 when the two years is up.

In the case of the Note 4 it's so that you can have an HD resolution for each eye with their VR helmet thing, but with the Nexus there's obviously even less of an argument.

Wasn't the Nexus 5 rubbished for getting, literally, too hot to handle if under constant use?

I've never noticed it doing that. The 4 used to get hot, but not stupid hot.

I use my Nexus 5 pretty intensively (sometimes for extended gaming sessions or suchlike) and whilst it gets 'quite warm' sometimes, I've certainly never had it 'hot' and no worse than any other smartphone I've ever owned.
