Surely the entire point was to shoot the food (Or to spend ages bantering while doing tedious shit to get a multiplayer player achievement, only for one of your number to crash just at it arrives and not get it. And get laughed at)
But more seriously, Magicka was great partly because of the potential for accidentally exploding your team or suchlike, I can't imagine the same developers (I think) removing the ability to cock up your team from a game which was already known for it.
Which pleases me.

Looks like things take too much killing though and they had to make it 'mature' by having lots of blood. I rather liked Gauntlet Legacy. Had some good fun playing that.
