Aw, shit. Hoffman's face on the screen during a trailer would always get me thinking, "Might have something good here!" I saw him in Hunger Games 2, he looked a little tired in there but was full of a strange, warm, menace.

So today I can't talk because of some cold I've had.

Anyway, so far I've answered my phone, pulled a confused face and put it down again, and buzzed the intercom to get someone to let me in to the office, then had to just slap the mic a few times to let them know I was there.

That was on over Christmas I think, I definitely remember seeing it and also thinking that it was some sort of a nightmare.

Hmm. Having just finished a couple of games this week it seems I'm not far off 'finishing' this gen entirely. I've only got the following left to play that I actually own:

• Far Cry 3
• Splinter Cell: Blacklist
• Sleeping Dogs
• Max Payne 3

And only the following stuff else I definitely want to play:

• GTA V
• Stick It To The Man
• Contrast

The latter two I could even just leave and pick up on Steam at some point as they're both out for the PC. Sadly though there's absolutely fuck all out for the PS4 that I'm interested in so even if I did blow through that lot quickly enough there's still no point buying one. Christ, at this rate I could end up doing the same as my Xbone owning mate at work and picking up stuff like Fallout 3 DLC while waiting for anything worth playing to actually come out. Or just buying mad shit that I fancy but that'll probably be awful like Asura's Wrath. I know things will pick up once things get moving and the previous gen consoles get properly dropped but it's all a bit disappointing (as I know plenty of other people have said already).

Countdown to myp telling me I should buy a Wii U begins now...
