Following on from the epic set pieces thread, this one will take somewhat less defining.

For me, it was the moment in San Andreas when I was driving the stoned manc (played by Shaun Ryder) around in some van during a scripted caper and he says in bleary confusion "are we in Chorlton?". As a former resident, I fell out of my chair weeping with laughter at the comic timing of it and had to redo the mission.

Second was when I managed to get a crouching Nico's arm up the skirt of the distressed old lady slumped in a waiting room chair in the hospital in GTAV. She seems impassive except for when she occasionally puts her hand to her forehead and arches back slightly. Absolute fucking gold, that was.

Oh and Portal's GlaDOS Cake Song was obviously brilliant.

Talking of Portal, the point in Portal 2 right at the start of the chapter called The Part Where He Kills You is brilliant. The layered repetition of that line in various ways in quick succession just amused the hell out of me.

GLaDOS : Well, this is the part where he kills us...
Wheatley : Hello! This is the part where I kill you!
"CHAPTER 9 : THE PART WHERE HE KILLS YOU"

Obviously you could fill this thread utterly with Portal stuff but that one part just sprang to mind.

Very much all the classic Lucasarts games, but one of these two are particular favourites:

Punching the wobbly clown in 'Day of the Tentacle' only to be hit by it whilst the robot voice goes 'Ha. Ha. Ha.'

Yes, fx. the whole introduction to Portal 2 is fantastic. Brought to mind the introduction to Half-Life, which is also one of the greats.

EDIT: Oops, I got confused and thought this was the set-pieces thread. So those things I mentioned are set-pieces. And probably belong in another thread. Maybe.
