I'm honestly of the opinion that a lot of films aren't in the least bit 'spoiled' by 'spoilers', indeed I often enjoy films most on second and subsequent viewings, or if I'm 'spoiled' them first.

Whereas I'm completely the opposite. I didn't even know the name of this film until I started watching it.

But it's seeing the plot points for the first time in the context of the film (and while watching the film) that's important.

I think it was a big error to watch the first 30 minutes of this film while posting on Beex on Monday night, because this morning I wasn't really sure what was going on.

Worse, I've got an hour left to watch, and won't be able to do so until Monday morning - at which point I'll no doubt be posting in here again.

Sadly not.

I watched it all, though. I didn't really like it.

The make up was excellent though - especially Hugh Grant. Sadly, I think this might have taken away from the "idea" of the film overall.

I read this when it was popular and don't remember the book being very confusing, though I remember multiple plot lines.
