Right - today finishes in 5.5 hours and we're no-where near a consensus

Quote:
mr russell sprouts: 1 (Goddess Jasmine)
gospvg: 1 (GazChap)
joans: 2 (gospvg, zaphod79)

Not voted: 11 (cras kringle, grim..., silentnight, santanalian, bobbyaro, squirt, trooper, mr russell sprouts, joans, davpaz, sharp suit)

With 15 players alive, 8 votes are required for a lynch, and 8 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

http://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com/counter/work.php

No votes means that we'll probably lose 2 more people overnight - Joans has not posted today and only made one post yesterday

Quote:
We'll probably look back and regret not actually lynching Kov. Or on the other hand we may not.
Useful, I know.

Which I think even he would agree is basically useless - why should he still be around ?

I can't fault Zaphod's logic and I don't have any better ideas. If nothing has come to me while I'm wrapping these presents I'll happily switch my vote.

It can be but it makes it very easy for the baddies to hide , they dont need to say much therefore don't incriminate themselves and the game just slowly drifts along until the good guys are overwhelmed.

[vote:joans] as no one else has more than one vote and he's not been on to defend himself. Seems the only sensible option.

I think the , "blame joans" gets a little thin after a while, we know he can;t post during the day, we know he had no info on day one - none of us did, so I am not sure what you were expecting him to post.

And at SN, he hasn't been on to defend himself, therefore we should kill him? Seems abit harsh, abit bloodthirsty even. Do you know who else is blood thirsty?

[vote:silentnight] that looks loads like a mafia bandwagon vote.

So if he's not been on during the day , and was not really on yesterday whats the point of him being in the game ?

Also - i cant right now but I will go through this game and a random other 'plain-ish' (no not troopers crashed plane) game and count the number of mafia bandwagon votes on day 1 , 2 and 3 and i think it will turn out to be zero

At the start the mafia dont need a bandwagon , they can happily sit back , do nothing during the day and then mop up at night - creating a bandwagon and encouraging people to vote for the mafia really only works later on.

(of course after i've said this we'll find out the mafia have realised this and are using it as a tactic for this game :-)

Heres the quiet info for today - I am not saying we should be voting for Davpaz even though he's not contributed today and thats because he was contributing yesterday

I ask myself this every time there's a game, I just thought I might have a bit more time to get involved this time round, but every time I've been on, I've not really had anything to say (me, I know :p).
This has been my time off as well, so I doubt I'll be more involved if you do keep me in (unless I have some wild theories to throw out).

I saw Joans in here earlier and evidently he didn't post anything. I am of the opinion that there should be no lynch and silent agreement by the mafia to bump off the quiet ones. Then we can talk about stuff and play fo' real.

Voting for Joans will not help the town. I'd suggest he's no more than an elf otherwise he'd get more involved. The town needs to take a better punt lest we get overwhelmed. The mafia has a vested interest in us voting for Joans because it distracts from the bigger picture of finding baddies.

Someone who has voted for Joans is Mafia. I'm voting for a voter. Let me just pick one...

I was just looking through his post history because i had a nagging feeling that he posted something that seemed off either earlier today or yesterday but i cant see it

[vote:silentnight]

Keeping Joans around and him not really taking part still sounds like a bad idea to me

There are always pros and cons to whoever we vote for. I don't mind either way, but it's our only chance to get rid of someone even if we only have an inkling about them.

Despite DavPaz having the spelling skills of Mr Dave's keyboard being operated by a drunk Mimi, that is a vote.

SilentNight goes into that dark night as you add him to the Naughty List.

"But the chances of my being naughty are easily calculated by..."

He's gone.
