Recently i've noticed quite how many little things are wrong with me as I get older. I wouldn't class myself as unhealthy, or particularly unfit, but at 37 things seem to be creeping up on me!

So people, just what is wrong with you? Me:

Itchy skin caused by some sort of skin disorder. I don't have any dry patches, my skin is just constantly itchy... all the time... My mum had the same problem.
Heat rashes. To add to the above, whenever I get hot these days, I get a nice itchy heat rash to go on top of the general itchiness!
Tinnitus. This is relatively new, so i'm still learning how to tune it out and ignore it (which I have mostly done with the skin issue already)
Hearing loss at a particular frequency. (6khz, fact fans)
Short sighted, with flares around bright lights at night.
Tonsular stones
Regular bouts of tonsillitis
Overweight. Only slightly, BMI of 25.69 at the moment apparently
Mildly lactose intolerant. This is also new! The wife has bought me some A2 milk to see if it is the A1 protein I can't handle.

Jesus, adding it all together, I'm a wreck.

I turned 40 in October. I feel pretty good really, when I fall I don't bounce like I used to and my knees are a bit fucked but apart from that, yeah, I feel pretty good.

I am turning 40 in Jan....

I have type 2 diabetes.. meds are controlling it.
A dodgy knee from playing rugby.
I a bit over weight.
Long Sighted
Hayfever
Asthma when it is cold or summer...

Other than that I am awesome

Chronic psoriasis, currently in 'severely fucking you over' mode
High blood pressure
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (attempting to cure that one by turning it into alcoholic fatty liver disease, it's going pretty well)
Probably about a stone overweight still - BMI is 26
Knees that crack. A lot. That's what happens if you start running when you're a fat bastard.

I reckon I'm alright.

I have Tinnitus since my early 20's. Definitely related with me having a band and rehearsing with ridiculous sound volume. Besides that:
Tendinitis on both knee-caps. Probably related with bodyboarding
hay fever and severe allergy to dust
mild asthma

Besides that, not much, but i'm still 32, so there's plenty of time

Rosacea that comes and goes
Seriously dodgy knee that I now can't run on any more (going to need an op)
Hayfever (but I've had that since age 5, so it doesn't really count as a getting old thing. Plus it's getting better)
Short sighted (again, been since I was a young un)
Dangerously attractive to dogs

I am pretty much perfect.

RSi but I mainly have that under control now.
Weight is ok now I am currently 11.5 stones was over 13 stones six months a go.

Apart from the above all good for 40.

I'm 33.

Apart from the classic Asthma/Eczema/Hayfever trifecta, I'm in pretty good shape.

Oh and a dodgy knee.

And a giant head.

Oh, I also have somewhat poor impulse control

I'm ever so slightly short sighted, but that's an improvement on being horribly short sighted before I had my laser surgery in 2007.

I am underweight, my ideal weight should be 11.5-12 stone and I'm about 10 stone.

I have no stamina or strength to speak of, and don't do any exercise.

I am missing a front tooth.

And I was recently diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, which is a "mild" version of sciatica I suppose.

Insanely short sighted.

I'm teaming up with you lot come the zombie apocalypse... I'll need people as live bait and to leave floundering at the back while I make my getaway.

I'm short sighted but always have been. Could be less podgy but I'm not overweight, and my skin is a lot more acne prone than it should be at my age.

I do feel like I need to be looking after myself better though, I just feel less flexible, weaker and more tired than I did. I have to dye my hair to cover greys now, as opposed to just wanting a different colour, and my moisturisers have anti-aging/anti-wrinkle properties nowadays, too.

Apart from dry skin on my top lip sometimes.

Oh, and my wrists hurt if I use a screwdriver for more than 15 seconds.

Also, my big toe cracks but it's always done it and I quite like it.

There's not much wrong with me. Well, apart from being a fat, old, bald twat, that is.

Heh, more seriously, I'm pretty short sighted, overweight (15.5 stone, only 5'10" tall, though *some* of that is (still) muscle lol), but other than that no issues. I'm like a (much) older, much scaled-down "Travel Scrabble" sized version of Grim... I guess.

Try to do as much exercise as I can; I've always loved the gym which is my one saving grace, as I'm a vice-laden twatto. Like a beer, wine, fag, cigar, shedloads of good food and all the rest. Wine, Women & Song.

Mine was only a couple of weeks back. My eyesight isn't as good as it was, but hearing is surprisingly good considering the numbe of concerts I've been to. My right knee isn't as strong as it should be and I could lose a couple of stone, but I'm actually fitter than I've been in a long time.

Could be better but could be a lot worse. I still go down the front at gigs, but don't feel like I need to every time.

For anyone saying they have any sort of stomach problem, skin problems, or general lethargy I strongly recommend trying a gluten free diet and seeing if it improves anything for you.
My dad got diagnosed with coeliacs disease which made my doctor propose it as a potential cause of my myriad of symptoms. They couldn't prove it through testing for me but going gluten free has quite literally changed my life.
If you have ever been told by a doctor you have or might have IBS, you should seriously read up a wee bit on coeliacs.
