I'm moving house soon, so I'm finally clearing out my enormously cluttered attic. Part of the clutter is gaming gear. There's a very small amount of it I want (like my Dreamcast arcade stick) but most of it needs to go. Hardly any of it has any value, not enough to be worth ebaying I suspect. But I don't want to just bin it...
So would anyone like to take it off my hands? I can't even talk with authority about what's in there. I know there's at the very least:
A PS2
An Xbox
A Dreamcast, or maybe two (one Jap one UK)
A Gamecube
A DC steering wheel
A PSP
Four Donkey Konga drums, I think
Misc pads, cables, PSUs, games, etc etc
Much more, I'm sure
Caveat is: I don't believe it can be economically shipped and I don't want to mess about splitting it. So you'd have to have it all, and you'd have to collect it from Cwmbran in South Wales. (I could arrange to meet you somewhere halfway if you were travelling any distance, not that I imagine anyone would.) You could make me an offer if you felt charitable but honestly I'd just be happier to see it all go to a good home than be thrown away.
Also I withdraw the right to take specific things out of here and ebay it if it turns out to be worth the money. I don't think that's likely though.
Anyone interested? Or can anyone think of anything else to do with all this stuff?
Hi there, stranger. :)
It'd be a tragedy if you threw any of that stuff away. (Well, perhaps not the bongos, but...) I know folks who'd enjoy these a lot, and for the consoles we already have a spare pad or so would be a great relief who whichever one of the gang ends up with the
fucking Madcats that only works when the cable's scrunched up in the right way. Could I be super cheeky and ask if you'd elaborate on what the 'misc pads/cables/PSUs games' could be?
What's your time limit on this? I'm near Liverpool so it would definitely be a job to pick it up, but I've got a brother who'd certainly be able to find a use for several of those himself, who loves driving long distances, and owes me a favour. It's the kind of thing where if the circumstances are right, it could happen, but not immediately. Do you have a week or so for us to work this out, or is that too much fuss? It's okay if you don't want to hang around and all that.
Cheers,
Matt (MrD)
