I was surprised to find out the result of my investigation so soon into the 2nd night. But I did. I hadn't sent a message at that point. So I was still able to.

This was more my point actually. I don't doubt that there is a Giles and that it is either malc or elk. I don't think there would be two good investigators though, and it seems weird that there are two notes saying that elk is bad. Who wrote the second one? Is malc conspiring with someone?
