I'm out. For me, it degenerated into lots of people saying 'nice moustache!', but very few actually donating money to charity.

I did it once two years ago and raised £500, which I felt was pretty successful. I don't expect to do the same this year, but every bit helps.

A bloke at work was on a sponsored sobriety thing. Made a grand, possibly because everyone thought 'you, sober for an entire month? yeah right'.

Sobertember should be a thing. Then the cottage would be even more carnage.

Yeah I'm growing a mo for testicular cancer research this year. A very good cause for sure and besides, it'll be the most hair I've been seen with for years.

You've got the same amount of hair as most people, just it's stretched across a larger swathe of skin.

Is it acceptable to do this just to raise awareness? A work colleague and I are doing it but have been too unorganized to arrange sponsorship stuff. I did take a leaf from Elk's book and encouraged someone to go for a check-up today. Turns out they had already been recently but it got people talking
