Hello,

I want to sell my XBOX and I've disabled XBOX Live auto-renew, removed both my payment methods, and I plan on wiping the hard drive. Is there anything else I need to do? Do I need to ring up and get the DLC licenses removed so I could download them again at a later date on a different machine?

You can do that online at any stage (so no you dont need to cancel that)

So if I got another XBOX 360 at a later date, I'd just have to put my gamertag on it then do a transfer license?

Correct - actually you dont even need to do the license transfer - you could download them and they would work with your gamertag logged in (and as long as you were online) - however if its your Xbox it makes more sense to do the license transfer (they do limit you to only doing this once (twice?) a year)

Yeah, old Elite model, one of the reliable one's I think, I've had no problems with it in any case.

I'm looking to replace my non-HDMI one - how much do you want for it?

Not sure, £55 delivered? Not sure what delivery would cost but it can't be more than a tenner can it?

I can throw in Bulletstorm, Brink and FIFA 13 if you want them?

Deal, but I've got Bulletstorm, so give that to a buddy. PM me some Paypal details.

That seems like a fair price to me, slightly undercutting the best "from a shop" alternative.

Did you disable auto-renew on the console or Xbox.com? Because I did it on the console when it prompted and the cunts tried to auto-renew from expired cards details anyway - basically the console setting is IRRELEVANT to auto-renewing.

Hilariously it now won't let me remove my credit card from Xbox gold subs payment options (that a nice German man had to do with the expired one so I could use a prepay) because I have an active SkyDrive subscription.

It's not mine is it? It's increasing looking like it's been stolen. I'm pretty gutted about it as it has sentimental value and all of my saved games but one on the hard drive. :(

When I got offered the job we started to pack things in the house away in their boxes. The stuff from under the TV was packed and put in Joans' wardrobe. Unfortunatly it took us about 8 weeks to move and in that time I was renting a room in the week away from the house. One weekend when I went home my neighbour told me that she had seen one of the boys friends (they were still living there) running out of the house and too a car with a box under his arm. I hadn't noticed anything missing at that point (pretty hard to with everything boxed up anyway) and forgot about it. The first weekend we went back to the house after moving here we grabbed stuff like that to bring back with us only it was missing out of the wardrobe. As everything had been boxed up for so long I couldn't be sure that I hadn't put it in a large box for extra security (I certainly remember considering it) so needed to wait until we we had unpacked to check. We've been through every box now - nothing. Was pretty gutted about it for a while tbh (on various levels). :(

Little fuckers.

I'll send you my old one when Runcle's arrives.

I'd give you mine if I hadn't already sold it.

Thanks guys, but we have got another 360, it's just the loss of everything that was on the hard drive that's the main annoyance.

Just makes sense to get a PS4 to ease the pain.

Yeah, there was hundreds of hours of game saves on there and it had been a gift from Devilman with some money he had come into.

As Joans says, we have his here now. But thank you for your kind offer Grim..., it was very sweet of you. :)

Excellent. I couldn't find a box for it so thought I'd just use it as a surprise. I'd imagine you've already got it though.

Unless 'pap' now means 'good'*, you're dang wrong.

* And 'wouldn't' means 'would'**
