The only thing that annoys me about it is that the younger dude looks too much like one of the lads from The Inbetweeners.

Now this looks interesting...comes onto HBO in January following two detectives looking for a serial killer over 17 years.

It's in 8 parts and will tell the whole story, so if there is a second season it will focus on another investigation.

We started Castle last night.

Nathan Fillion is awesome, but the woman playing Det. Beckett reminds us both of Courtney Cox. In an annoying way.

See how many Firefly easter eggs you can spot - there's loads.
Some from Generation Kill and Generation Hospital as well (Esposito and Ryan's previous shows)

Broken and wrong.

Also, Castle dressing up as you know who for Halloween is just the greatest thing that ever happened on TV.

Beckett is great in it, and Ryan and Esposito are absolutely superb. Sure, it's massively procedural, but it's great fun.

We gave it a good go, I think we must have watched 5 or 6 episodes, but it just seemed really weak. No real belly laughs to be had and the stories weren't very good either.

I'm getting chuckles and grins, not belly laughs. It's not that kind of show.

I highly recommend "Orange is the new black". Incredibly addicting. It's about a women prison, and if you think the premise is good, the show is even better.

It's a serious drama, but it's ocasionally funny. The characters are pretty memorable, almost all of them.

Concerning the final cliffhanger

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The white trash christian fanatic was one of my favorite characters, so i even got sad that she might have died. But even then, the situation was kinda funny, with Piper pinning her down wrestling-style

We've watched the first season and two or three of the second. It's ok as background noise, but I've stopped watching them or paying much attention. The storylines are weak and signposted. I like the characters of the daughter and grandmother.

Finally set up Netflix and watched the first two episodes of the US 'House of Cards'. Absolutely brilliant stuff. But then you all knew that.

The ending of Dexter was crap.

Not that this should put people of watching the show, as for the most all of the seasons (8) where really good.

It really was an atrocious ending. I thought the penultimate season was really good, but they utterly botched the last one. There was so much more story that they owed us, and so many missed opportunities. Feeble all over.

I thought Vogel was a pretty interesting charactert at first, but her storyline never went anywhere interesting.

That's a shame. I have watched the first seven series, and was hoping for a great ending. I shall continue to avoid spoilers and see for myself.

I agree season 7 was pretty good, especially given how utterly fucking atrocious season 6 was. Indeed they seem to have realised that themselves by not making reference to bits of it. The current season's been alright but certainly not great and they do seem to have introduced a lot of characters, some of whom could've been interesting, and then had no idea what the hell to do with them. Comparing the last few season to some of the constantly escalating tension that it was capable of at it's best it's definitely time it ended.

Anyone else watching Sleepy Hollow?

I'm just watching the third episode and so far it's been pretty good. It looks like they have a fairly broad mythology planned, and some decent characters.

The latest season of how I met your mother is still as sappy and lame add the last few ones. I don't know why I still bother. At least it's the last season.

I'm not surprised that the last episode of Dexter was cheap. That show was always a bit shit, but a few moments of brilliance convinced me otherwise. The second season and forth were ok, the rest was silly. I gave up on the sixth season, as it started even worse than the others.

The earlier seasons are definitely the best; it pretty much peaks with season 4, although season 5 wasn't bad either. 6 was terrible and 7 was very patchy.

The third season was awful indeed. Don't know how I endured after that. The forth
season was ok mainly because of the great antagonist. But for me the second was undoubtedly the best.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
i was really hoping that Dexter got caught. Felt quite bad for dukes. The English " " always nude" was also a good character.

But generally I feel like this show is full of bullshit moments like if it was made in the nineties and shows like the sopranos and the wire never happened. It's so filed with lame unrealistic characters and glaring plot holes. I feel exactly the same about homeland.

Anyway, Suits was ace, although by the current series Harvey has managed to turn into a caricature of himself, and it's really silly.

Does anyone watch Sons of Anarchy?

I'm currently ploughing through them as my commute TV show, but I had a long break before continuing, mainly due to the awful middle of the third season that I couldn't face.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The whole time in Ireland was proper shit

I've forced myself to continue and it has picked up towards the end and is getting good again. Seasons 1 and 2 were great.
Should I continue with Season 4, it can't be worse than Season 3 can it? Does it get back to the original quality levels?

No, it gets fucking worse again. Yes, it's a fecking relief when the theme tune turns back to the original, but it just gets a bit silly. It's started to pick up again in the current series, but it really hasn't got back to the levels of S1 and early S2.
