For a particular definition of "alive", yes.

That definition being "lying half-dead in bed, blood and pus pouring out of every available orifice, life signs barely registering but with parents that stubbornly refuse to turn off the life-support machine."

10 years since I last bothered to look, so it's just a bit of a shock to see you can buy new hardware and software.. baffling.

I once flew out to Dublin to visit my boss for the first time (back when I worked for an Irish company in their London office. I was interviewed for the job over the phone, and had spoken to him on the phone for a month or so) and he wasn't there, he was in New York.

Still, I got to see the Irish office, and then spend a night out in Dublin with the guys. Which was nice.

Good news: made it home before the rain with a bottle of beer.
Bad news: no keys and no bottle opener.

I started my new job today. The people there seem nice and they're actually taking me seriously... What a nice feeling. Also, I went into town at lunch time and bought the final Halo figure I need to complete my set so all in all, A good day!

It's my last day at my current job today. I filled up yesterday saying goodbye to a member of my team that isn't in today so I've a feeling I'm not going to handle the presentation well when it happens.

Sometimes I get in a loop where I check the forum, then go 'hmm, what to do now. I know, I'll check the forum!'

4 1/2 hours to go...

The new "auto-refresh" box will make checking easier!

Oh hang on, I found it on the General Discussion board. Can it be added to the View New Posts page?

I sent out an e-mail to 20 people where I used 'less' instead of 'fewer'.

Walk past the CEO and then jump in shock shouting "Don't touch my penis!" and then take 5 days stress leave.

Well that's why I came up with a contrived plan to get stress leave rather than just telling you to walk out.

Happy Grim... day!
