Although I nearly didn't finish it, after taking umbrage with the fact that most - if not all - of the so-called questions are in fact just statements.

Also: new phone get! It's marvellous. There's an app where I tell it what channels I like, it shows me what's on them now, and by touching my phone, my telly goes to that show!

Does anyone know how to get the ^ symbol on to a nokia lumia phone (not sure which one, but probably the cheapest one with windows phone on it)

I've had a quick look online but not found much, thought someone might know on here...

Thanks

That symbol is shown on this page under the "To find more symbols" heading so just follow those instructions.

That page was the first hit on the search I did for "windows phone keyboard characters"; your Google-fu is weak. ;)

Reminds me of the time I ordered a new monitor from RL Supplies (when they were great). It was early Monday morning, 1am or so. It was delivered that same day by 10am. It was also a Bank Holiday weekend. I was rather impressed.

The tour of Britain just passed by less than a mile from where I work.

I was too busy to go and see it.

My colleague who did go, said Team Sky were all the front, but apart from that who couldn't really tell who anyone was. I guess the best place to watch them is near the top of a hill, as apposed to on the flat, where the whole peloton whizzes by in under 10 seconds, and the support vehicles take much longer to go by!

Still gutted I missed it though :(

I went to London SitP to see John Sweeny.

He was absolutely barmy. He got paranoid that these two guys were scientologists (they were) and eventually they stormed out with a plastic bag full of weird things. He made us chant and was barely coherent. It was like a high art piece.

So yeah, highly recommended.

Claim to fame 1: when I asked Sweeny as question during Q&A he described me as "A young lenin". Which Rob Manuel described as a simultaneous insult and complement.

Someone got fired a few weeks ago from here for defrauding the company out of a few thousand pounds.

Anyway, he's just been in to say hello to everyone and mingle.

Can you believe the cheek?

A guy who got fired for gross negligence a while ago and fucked us for money over a technicality during his dismissal seems to think its ok to pop in, borrow things and distract people from their work. I mean, he's even set up his own place in opposition. Dick.

Today was the first day of moving house. To say it's been less than productive is something of an understatement.

All our networks are down, so I'm in the office twiddling my thumbs.

Been struggling to do anything all day because someone's been drilling the office wall to put up a blinking dart board.
