I know there’s already a proper thread for gamertags and the like, but I was surprised at how short the PSN section was.

Here’s the thing – I finally signed up for PS Plus (can’t believe how stupid I must be for not really noticing it earlier, seems to be a massive no-brainer bargain, especially compared to XBL gold). I have a PS3, a Vita and am very likely to be tempted by a PS4 in November.

It’s probably not very dignified to do things this way, especially as I haven’t posted for months, but what the hell, 2013 has been a shit year so far and me and MrsC could do with a bit of cheering up.

So, if any PS3/Vita/potential PS4 types would like to add me to their friends list or are willing to be added by me, a quick confirmation here would be very much appreciated. Everyone’s welcome and, as far as I know, PSN doesn’t have that stupid 100 friend limit.

I use it for multiplayer gaming. In fact, if anyone wants to play Payback tonig...ah, GTAV. Sorry. Another time perhaps.

What's the word on GTA multiplayer? I don't understand GTA Online. Is it just a fancy name of the multiplayer option?

Does anyone have Everybody's Golf for Vita? It's cheap at the moment (~£5), great fun, and it has a turn-based multiplayer mode which is worth your time.

If you've already fwended someone on PSN, say, MrZardoz, you can go onto his list of friends and just go down their list of fwends to bash out fwend requests.

Erm, I fwiended all of you on this thread, but on the Vita rather than the PS3, was just wondering (stupidly , no doubt) if that works just as well as on the PS3 as I haven't had any responses as yet.

It's a fully unified system across Vita and PS3.

I had a look at this the other day and, as far as I could see, you couldn't access a fwends fwends list on the PS3. Vita you can.

It's called GTA Online because it will evolve separately - I suspect they'll release it as a standalone game at some point.
