My Steam account clocks over to 10 today.

I wonder if they have anything planned? A sale? Free games for me?

Blimey, I feel both old. That was even before Youtube!

They've given us Family Sharing! Which is totally useless.

Was the 12th of September 2003 the first day of Steam*? Because that's when my account was apparently created. (Unless it's a coincidence and we signed up the same day? We should totally compare SteamIDs to see whose is smallest...)

*edit: Yes, it was, according to wiki! I don't remember signing up back then. Maybe I had to? Did they force everyone playing HL online to switch from WON, or something?

I seem to have signed up to Steam about a week after HL2 came out.

So did Steam send you a thank you notification for being one of the early adopters?

5th December 2003 for me so I was clearly a bit late to the party, I had it in my head I was there on day one but thinking back I was probably still playing CS1.6 through Gamespy or something like that.
