We used to game together a lot, but it doesn't happen that often anymore, with people often forgetting (including me). On True Achievements there is a calendar where people can set up sessions for others to join and how many players they need - would that be useful here? For example I could set up a session for next Friday for Payday on the PS3, and those who were interested could sign up. It would then show up on the calendar and news ticker, and also send an email reminder an hour before. Maybe even tweet from @BeexGames that a session has been set up and added automatically to a Gaming Sessions thread.

Is there any interest, and if so, is it feasible (Grim..., I'm looking at you)?

I have no coding skills whatsoever or I'd do it myself.

It's a lump of piss to do. I was waiting for interest.

Maybe there isn't the interest there once was. I assumed it was a logistical thing, but maybe not.

I'd be interested, because anything that makes this place into more of a social hub is of interest to me.

Of course I'd be interested too, but only on PC games at the minute. PS4 when it comes.

I very much had the idea of it being multiplatform, with easily defined colours for the entry on the calendar so you can see at a glance whether you can play or not.

You've missed the 3DS but yes, I'd be interested in this making the forum a more social thing and anything to make the news ticker useful again is good in my eyes.
