Really enjoying my job now I do more it. Appear to have gotten a better job title as well. I have one job title for the company in the building I work in and another for the company who I do the work for. It is confusing. They gave me quite a big account on a very short interview so I am clearly awesome. Hurrah.

Good old Virgin for sorting their deal with BT. I'm now getting both their new sports channels, in HD, at no extra cost. A definite yay. :)

I'm in the top 2% of "helpful people" on Stack Overflow this week. Those of you that use it will know that's quite a thing.

I have a new job with my current company.

For some time I've been mailing project managers to suggest improvements to their guides for engineers and also made suggestions to my practice manager about improvements to training for project engineers.

So they've decided to offer me the post of Engineering Projects Trainer, which includes 'an incentive' (i.e. a pay rise) and bonuses. They just haven't worked out what the incentive or bonuses will be yet. So, no more night shifts for me, installing new tills or servers in a well known high street chemists, which was what I was scheduled to be doing until the end of September. I'm on leave until 2 September, when I will begin a round of meetings with managers to discuss the training I'll be delivering.

Nice one Warhead! o/

There's a chance I might have some photo prints exhibited at a three-day international photography festival in Aberystwyth with special big-gun guest stars. I've been asked to submit five for consideration. No guarantees on them being shown, but it's nice that I've got the chance! :)

Now the question is, shall I have 'em all US Civil War, all America, or a mix. So hard choosing!

Mine does his next year!

Oh, he's doing all of his next year!

Which would make him the same age as yours!

The school asked him earlier in the year if he wanted to sit any exams early & I told him why not you have nothing to lose if you don't get the grades you want you can retake in year 11.

I think he is disappointed with the Science so may resit that to improve.

Bagged a pair of Merrell goretex hiking boots from eBay for less than half price. Soooo comfy.

Still pricey at £72 but should have been £150! And since I ordered my pair the price shot up again.
