Possibly. If mrsa can manage to get a cab from the airport, or her flight lands before 7pm, then yes .

I've had a tupperware box filled with chinese from Yaghotze (or whatever it's called) in Darbs, Westfields.

I have opened the top button on my trousers.

Only if he consents. Medium rare for me.

Was involved in my first real "incident" as a support worker, yesterday. 18-year-old, mostly non-verbal autistic lad trying to leather everybody. Hair-pulling, biting, scratching, punching, etc. Cracked a toilet cistern, too, so we were avoiding all this whilst slipping in a good few cm of water. My boss Natalie had to go to hospital after a hefty kick to her knee. I was very careful in writing the report about it, because we had to physically tear him away from people at various points, and going "hands-on" is a big no-no. (Dunno what the fuck else they expect us to do).

The only real trigger anyone can think of is that he was getting excited and antsy as he waited for his dinner. He'd had a great day up to that point.

Amusing article about the British library web filters banning Hamlet: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23680689

Quote:
Prof Ross Anderson, a security expert at Cambridge University, told the BBC that internet filters were "pointless" and that it was "completely inappropriate" to have one in the British Library.

He added: "Everything that is legal should be available over the library's wi-fi network. The only things they should block are the few dozen books against which there are court judgements in the UK.

"One of the functions of deposit libraries is to keep everything, including smut."

The British Library defended its position, saying that it wanted to protect children visiting the building from content "such as pornography and gambling websites".

From my long experience in working in a library, there are people out there who would not balk at accessing porn in the middle of crowded room, could they get to such on a computer. Hell, it's happened before with Robot-Talking-Chinese-Guy; a bespectacled chap with a barkingly-loud robot-voice who kept trying to access (and remarkably succeeding) soft-core fetish Wermacht-girl sites and would then proceed to do print outs of said images, walking up to the desk waving the sheaf of them and crying out repeatedly in his blurting statacco voice, "ONE POUND PLEASE! ONE POUND PLEASE!"

"No, you see you can't do that. You're not allowed to..."

"ONE POUND PLEASE! ONE POUND PLEASE! ONE POUND PLEASE!"

If porn became available in the library, there would be people there ready to use it with no shame whatsoever.

...

Then again, we do need the money, now that our budget is being slashed. Er, library-porn pay per view?

Well you could have had a trip like mine - the M27 was closed this morning due to a fatality so all the side roads were chaos - which more than doubled my normal 'long' commute :-(

Stroke of luck I chose to make that journey yesterday!

Courier just rocked up for the people upstairs and said it's taken 2 and a quarter hours to get here from his Whitely depot. That's normally about 15/20 minutes.

Wagamamas new Tom Yum. Apparently created by someone who's never had Tom Yum, nor has any real idea of what goes into it. Basically lemongrass flavoured chicken soup. Utterly wrong in every way. My day is ruined.

I watched a presentation in which two Furbys constantly interrupted the speaker with their own conversation whilst a robot crab fired missiles at a radio controlled flying fairy. I then ate some scampi provided by a supplier for free. And i got a stick of rock.Day is looking up.

As I understand, the executors of the will said it was a donation to whatever party was in power. So the blame lies with them.

Over 1000 are by one author.

Kind of makes you wish for keyword muting a la Tweetbot.

Brilliantly, the Sainsbury's 'price match' machine spat out a voucher for the princely sum of 6p today. I'm cheap enough to actually put this in my wallet ready for my next shop.

It's a third party service that will get you any black cab that's signed up the the service, and you use an app to say 'come pick me up here', it finds the nearest one and sends them to you. Other neat features like driver ratings, auto card payment, and shizzle. Works pretty well.
