In my defense, I'm on the mobile site at work and I searched "Saints Row IV".

It decided to ignore the IV and only brought up one page of Saints Row which seemed to be mentioned loads in the PS+ thread.

As far as I can see, the mobile site only returns one page of results. Is that correct?

Also.. I've not lost the copied Saints Row IV info so you'll all have to just imagine I posted it and Google it yourselves.

Choosing "topics only" helps.

And yes, yes it does only display the first page of results. That should probably change.

Ah yes, the subject only box. I didn't have that ticked. I didn't see that as I'm using the forum on a tiny window in the corner of my works PC... That's my excuse anyway.

Edit: @ Grim...
That's it. These things could be used for that quite easily.

Ideally, what they should do is attach £20 notes to a load and hide them all over the country, then loads of people would download the app trying to find them and that would get critical mass on the app distribution to make the hardware distribution a feasible scenario.

In Saturday night's trip to Brewdog this was one of the beers I decided it would be a good idea to try. Predictably, it was fucking disgusting.

I watched the Knightmare remake last night and here’s my thoughts.

I didn't like the Dungeoneers. They didn't have clipboards which showed that they weren't taking it seriously and It also looked like it was the first time they’d ever heard of Knightmare let alone play it. Apart from Ashens, the other kids didn't look old enough to truly appreciate it and their jeans were too tight. Annoying.

Also, while I’m not an expert, the editing seemed to be all over the place. It was clearly done on a budget which is fair enough but there were a few cuts where the editor must have said “That’ll do. No one will notice”

Finally.. The beginning bit was embarrassing.

Overall though, it was fun enough to watch all the way through and if it wasn't for CM Punks Grammar Slam, then this would have been my YouTube video of the day.

Word from the series producer was that the first series of Knightmare in 1987 cost 50 grand an episode*. That's a hell of alot for a 20 minute kids show. There's no way Youtube spent the equivalent of that (about 120 grand) on the new episode even allowing for cost reductions that technology brings. It was all shot in a day which is why it felt rushed. By all accounts shooting the original series was very slow indeed. If something looked shit they'd do re-takes etc.

* Which is about the same cost as a late 80's episode of The Bill, or half the cost of a late 80's Doctor Who. General soaps in that era came in at about 20-30 grand and I have a feeling the first series of Red Dwarf was about 30 grand an episode).

Hmm, another double-all night-site survey-tastic couple of days for me. Arses. (Last time that happened, Mr Chris offered me a job :D Anyone seen him lately, he seems to have disappeared off the forum :( )

Still, BBQ round my bro's on Sat, then Oulton on Sun to watch the bike racing (and "cider o'clock"), so I guess it's all good, really.

Erk, that link caused some rather embarrasing popups, such as a certain ("Jive Has Been" - Ed).

Chrome Password handling seems to be slightly 'odd' to me

http://blog.elliottkember.com/chromes-i ... y-strategy

So if you allow it to save your passwords for any web pages *anyone* with access to the machine at that point can go in and click 'show' and it will show (in plain text) your password.

As has been the case since it was created - and in Firefox, too.

That's new(ish) - it didn't do that when I used to use it.

They're still saved on your computer in plain text, though.

Another indicator of the volume for this week - its Thursday and the total number of submissions for post of the week so far is 1
