I have a number of 1080p mt2 files that need to be quickly converted to mov format.

Can these be quickly transcoded?

Sorry, not been around much.

Mov is just a container. Can hold anything. Saying you need a mov file is like saying you want a bottle. What do you want in the bottle?

Download Handbrake and let it do the heavy lifting. It's free and can convert most things to most other things. Also MPEG Streamclip.

[edit] It's easier to tweet me if you have questions. I always have Twitter on me. Forum depends on if I am at a computer or not.

Can it? I thought Handbrake only converted to .mp4 and .m4v?

How do I make it do other stuff?

If you can't make Handbrake do what you want, use MPEG Streamclip. They're the only two apps I ever need to be installed here.
