My flat's on the market!

Please share around, especially you London types if you happen to know anyone who's looking to relocate to a relatively sleepy little town ;)

My wonderful mummy said she would buy me a dress for my 30th birthday party as I didn't want anything / a present as such.

I wasn't quite expecting the awesomeness that is the Vivienne Westwood dress that is now in my possession!!

She's a genius and took me to a special outlet place she'd researched, so I was able to get something in budget that normally wouldn't ever even vaguely be - never thought I'd own something so insanely special! She's the best best best and I'm so deliriously happy (and in slight disbelief) that I've already tried it on about five times today ;)

Turning 30 sucks a lot less now :DD

ALSO. My lovely friend at work is getting married in Amsterdam in August and dropped a surprise invitation on me yesterday! She hasn't invited anyone else at work (and I didn't for one minute expect one) so it's such a lovely thing for her to do :) It's also gay pride there that weekend (she's gay so this was very intentional timing ;)) so it's going to be the most enormous weekend of happy party!! Whoop! :)

I've been provisionally offered the job I mentioned about a week ago in Bits n' Bobs! Provisionally, as they are waiting for final contracts to be signed with their latest customer in order to guarantee the work they're employing me for, but they wanted me to know that they've finished interviewing and I'm the guy they've picked.

The fools!

I'm told everything should be confirmed in writing on Wednesday, so fingers crossed there aren't any fuck-ups in the meantime.

As of last Thursday, I now have that 'broadbean' internet at home. Huzzah! It's been too long since I last had it.

The bad news: I'll be posting here more often.

Broad Bean Internet? I've not heard of them. It's a cute name though :)

You can get branded beans that you grow in a pot and the resulting plant leaves have a message or picture on. That's cute, too.

Well, got to third date with this one woman. We're drinking in a bar/gallery before we head to hers.

I get a round in, and when I return to my seat, she tells me she's been in a relationship for the last eight years, and she's not sure I should come round after all.

Wait, that's not a yay! She promised me pasta, the jezebel.
