Non judgementally of anyone here: It has always struck me as a bit odd that it's seemingly acceptable to discriminate against gypsies, but not other racial groups.

It's not acceptable, it's just easier to look down your nose at them when a horde descends.

Well they can just "travel" away can't they.

I don't necessarily think they're discriminated against because they're gypsies, but more because they're (generally, not always) twats that encroach on land that they have no right to be on and put up a massive fuss when asked to leave, get violent and often cause a surge in crime in the local area.

I'm sure if other racial groups did similar things, they'd face similar ire.

**Gypsy update**

There's now 11 vehicles blocking our entrance way made up of vans and cars. The Gypsys are hanging around saying that they'll just come back at night.

We all think that the reason why they're here is because there's a massive printing press out the back of the office as we used to print the newspaper here. It's in the process of being dismantled at the moment and there's big trucks of scrap metal leaving regularly throughout the day.

Call the cops.

The police have already been and gone. Well, I say the.. I mean the individual police officer that they sent to sort the situation.

Try being rude about the travellers on Twitter. That might get plod's attention.

Send an anonymous phonecall that unless there's several drive-bys by the police tonight, they might miss the massive knife fight that some nameless people have promised the gypsies.
