She is in her bed, and missing most of her head. She has taken a shotgun blast to the face. Dropping some blood into the local automated toxicology machine shows that prior to being killed in the face, she had been given a very strong sedative. Must have been a pretty easy target for a shotgun-wielding maniac.

A look through her house reveals nothing of note.

SDG was an Inhabitant of Town.

And maybe, just maybe, one of you will die today.

As for the 'one of you will die' , I think we need to assume as well as a psycho we have some poisoners who have already killed one of us :-(

From the description it seems like sdg was a popular choice. I'm assuming that the sedative means she was drugged by either a scientist or the mafia (or even both, but that is incredibly unlikely isn't it!).
The shotgun I'm assuming is the serial killer.
Did the ninja do anything? Nothing that has shown up today, but I guess it could be delayed?
I'm assuming the mafia managed to successfully poison, due to the numbers at play, so I'm guessing we will lose another at the end of the day.

The person I'm most interested to hear from is our role claiming malia...

It's certainly the most likely option, however we don't know the side effects of the bad antidote.

I think there's mafia in there. Without sdg, that leave seven people I am sus of, some more than others. I'm a bit more sus of Saturnalian as he pulled his vote at the last, and he had a voicemail from someone. Trooper I think would have been good for his word. or knows me too well. Cras, however, seemed to want to make the vote gather momentum given his timing, and that's a bit evil poisoner type. So, [vote: Cras]

Do you think you have been poisoned? Does the poisoned get any indication they have been poisoned I wonder? If you are the role you claimed to be, I would be surprised if you didn't keel over today!

Malia , you spent the last few seconds of the day yesterday role claiming as the investigator which probably means (unless your mafia) that your the person who was poisoned , so if i were you i'd be going flat out to get the town to do something and can you give me any reason why your first post today was not " I investigated X and they were town" or "I investigated X and they were Mafia"

Actually, I wouldn't have poisoned me if I were the mafia. I'd have deliberately not posioned me, knowing that the town would spend all their time focussing on me, rather than trying to find out who the mafia are.

If anyone does know they're poisoned, it might take a few days to take affect, so shouldn't they be waving their arms about looking for scientists?

I was investigated last night , the 'hero' is incompetent so he left plenty of clues for me to see that - so I wanted Malia to say 'i investigated Zaphod79 and was told he was town' , this does not mean that I am town (the head mafia can show as town) , but would have told me that Malia was the investigator

Yes. So presumably if the scientists had targeted someone last night who'd been poisoned, they'd be cured. But there's no way that the scientists can now cure someone who's due to die at the end of the current day.

Wow, SDG really wasn't getting much love poor thing! That does seem a bit extreme is she got blocked and offed, and, as we have no idea who / if / how to know about the poisoning, I wonder whether she got that too?

Do you think the poisoned person would know by now, or do they maybe not find out until the end of day as well?

I definitely think MaliA is being suss by having not shared info with us - why roleclaim, survive (which I'm a little surprised about) then not put that claim to good use? Especially if what Zaphod is saying is true... anyone want to counterclaim in the investigation?

Your claims only differ if you're saying you didn't investigate him. Also, considering you're already outed, confirming someone as a townie seems to be a no-brainer.

I'm confused over the Zaphod/MaliA thing.

MaliA says he's the masked man and can investigate but there's no counter-claim so he must be the masked man (unless the real masked man hasn't looked in today), right? Townies need the masked man for investigations so why are people trying to lynch him again?

He seems ok to me, but then again I am crap at this.

Mind you, why did he leave his BIG REVEAL until the last 5 minutes of Day 1? He was almost a shoe-in for getting a kicking, to mix my metaphors.
