So, with all these people poisoned I have decide I need to keep a tight eye on what I eat, so I am going to make extensive use of my allotment and grow my own.

I suggest all the other inhabitants of Town do the same until we get to the bottom of this mystery.

So, where are we at the moment, what is in play.

The usual should/we shouldn't we vote on day 1 hasn't been done yet. Lets nip that in the bud right now and agree that we should.

We have a mafia that could be anybody as of yet, and assuming they do manage to poison overnight, we won't know until the end of the following day. That puts us as a bit of a disadvantage, as we properly won't start to get information from that till day 3! We could easily be down 4 townies by then…

We have a serial killer doing random kills, nothing to help up find him yet.

We have an investigator that is a bit crap, but hopefully that will turn up something tonight, again though that really won't start to pay off till later in the game, as they shouldn't come out into the open for a very long time yet.

2 scientists who can talk to each other but are on the side of the town, that's reasonably powerful, even if one of them is basically an idiot. They should be able to work out who is the null hypothesis at some point soonish I would hope.

A ninja who we have no idea about. I suspect they won't be that good for the town though, at best they will be neutral.


What do we have to go on so far? We have Saturnalian claiming to have got a message from someone. Slip of the tongue? Setting up a scene without thinking of the consequences? Bit of an idiot? Taking it at face value that means he is either a scientist or mafia. There are more mafia that scientists, so that puts up a major FOS. I'm not so sure though, I think it is more likely idiotness, but we shall see…
