Adobe did one of its auto-updates yesterday and ever since then my YouTube playback under Firefox has intermittently been very choppy.
I removed the recent Flash update (version 11.7.700.202) and installed a slighltly older version but the problem remains in Firefox yet all seems to be okay in IE9 - anyone got any ideas how I can resolve the YouTube/Firefox choppy playback issue please? Been dicking around with it for the past 2 hours (Google searches, checking the Adobe forums, trying all kinds of things) and I'm getting bloody annoyed.
Thanks

Flash in Chrome doesn't use hardware decoding on my microserver so runs like turd, whereas IE10 is like butter.
Stupid open source.
Anyway, see if there's an option to use hardware playback in firefox or the right-click Flash menu.
