You wake, most of you.

That was... mildy arousing.

The monitor shows another room.
Shown is bobbyaro, he is standing in a room with 16 buttons on one wall and 1 button labelled "intercom" on another wall.
He looks up, you see a gas entering the room. He collapses.
The screen goes black, followed by three messages.

Apart from me, Bobby was the only other person to single out Kovacs.

My theory: It looked like I'd get bumped off today so he went for Bobby.

Sorry I didn't speak yesterday that lack of food and natural light is killing me (I may have been working/nursing a hangover)

So after a successful day yesterday, we've lost a townie, we have no idea how many bad guys there are. I'm pretty sure russ is town if he had exactly the same role as me. Reading what happened yesterday I'm fossing KovacsC for some reason. I don't know he just seems dodgy.

Did anyone get anything?

Oh, and after the "any requests, gossip, actions" end line yesterday from Trooper I PM'd and asked to kill Nickachu.

I obviously have no kill power :)

Sigh, Bobby was the most townly of us all.

Double sigh, we have a psychopath in our midst.

On the positive side, I've apparently always felt fine, and would be willing to vote Kovacs. But later.

I found a townie. I'm not sure if I should say the number or not - it won't exactly help the rest of us when we can't look it up.

Aligned in the way we both voted for you.

In that case you must be 'aligned' to Zaphod who was a cultist!!

I was blocked last night and it also seems that the evil genius running this sick and twisted game made a mistake and I was also blocked the night before when I investigated DavPaz, but since he died that is neither here or there.

So either the mafia Role blocker has me in his sights or the town one is blocking me accidentally.

What are the odds that the mafia started with -

A Roleblocker
A Investigator
A person with a list - Cras? (his label upon death was Kill not list)
A killer - DavPaz
A Don

That is a very large group with only 16 people playing and also us having a Cult in the game.

If they do have a investigator then that would be Grim...

Am not sure what the fuck is happening tbh

I pressed a button but it wouldn't go in. I've no idea if this means anything (since none of buttons appear to work anyway) or someone with powah is behind it.

I don't think I've heard enough from Nic to make any decision about what he may be. We've not heard anything about these rooms with one button at all.

Lets see what Cras said:
We were all supposed to target Curio last night, but one person had already targetted someone else, one person has the list so I suspect doesn't have a kill, and the other has the 'only one button' thingy./
Let's say that Cras was telling the truth; there were four Mafia so there's two left. Both Cras and DP had kill roles so I imagine they're out of kill roles (there was only one kill last night?). One still has The List. One has a One Button thingy. Russ and Nic confess to having One Button. What does the One Button do?

And there must be more cultists or converted to cultists out there. Do they normally have more than one person doing the recruiting since it would appear that person was offed early on so the damage might be limited.

I guess so, but all I've been told is "survive". I can't talk to anyone else or owt.

I could press my own button, I guess :hat:

I chose #1 last night, so #1 - you're "town".

[vote: KovacsC] Hnnngh!

All that talk yesterday about how "I'm vanilla town" just doesn't sit right with me. Bobby didn't think so either and we know he was town.

I'd say if Kov turns out to be mafia then Malc probably is too. Only problem then is that the cult might be making/have made some moves.

The argument 'Bobby didn't think so either and we know he was town' is a rubbish one, as townies don't know who each other are and have no way of communicating if we did.

I don't think I am cult or mafia, as I have not been contacted by wither and my win is survive.

Not much more I can say is there?

Bobby had an intercom though so I don't know who he was talking to or whether he'd been speaking to someone with an investigative role/list etc.

We all have intercoms... this is how we 'all' talk to each other.

By what has been said we have discovered that there in addition to the intercom the following:-
16 Buttons,
Private Intercom
List

I only have 16 buttons and the intercom, no list, no private intercom etc...

See yesterday. I explain why I dont give a damn about them. That is to say: a cult member does not stand against my win condition.

Do they stand against yours?

Furthermore, if there is still an active cult, that works in my favour as they're going to he actively working against a group.who probably do oppose myvwin condition.

Ok...its really counter intuitive to me to think that we should let a cult work unimpeded but I have just understood what you mean. My thinking was that I don't want to be recruited by the cult because they're baddies but I see what you mean, in the cult I would have just as much chance of survival. Ok, [vote:unvote] in that case I'm not sure what to do. People seem to suspect Kovacs and a potential link between him and Malc, I'd happily vote for either of them in the hopes of it leading to two bad guys. Let me reread to see if anyone else stands out.

Oh. and some more thoughts for you:

Given that yesterday I suggested that killing people should only do so if it was required for them to win.We had a kill.overnight suggesting one of three things.
1) They have a condition which requires killing
2) They didn't agree with anything I wrote yesterday.
3) They didnt read.what I wrote yesterday.

Nobody said 2 publicly.

Im guessing you could come under 3 on that list.

Right, lets try and get some thoughts down on paper.

Slightly Green-I think good
Grim...-I think good, if not good then harmless unless he's lying about being blocked which I suppose is possible.
sdg-I'm good but there's nothing to confirm that for the rest of you
thevision-quiet. No idea so a suspect.
Mr Russell-as above. Suspect.
Malc-possible link with kov according to someone earlier. No idea. Suspect.
Saturnalian-I don't know but I think good?
nickachu-quiet. No idea so suspect.
Mr Dave-I don't know, suspect but less so than others.
KovacsC-suspect.
[/playerlist]
So my list if people I'd vote for today is Kovacs, nick, Malc, MrRussell or TheVision.
Anyone else got thoughts or lists?

Frankly, any kind of pattern spotting requires more knowledge of the rules than we currently have.

From an informational point of view we've got a rather severe handicap as the people Im presuming are bad know what numbers are who, and probably a good idea about what their buttons do.

Checking over peoples behaviour to Craster and DavPaz may well be a waste of time as they didn't really scream out "team" to me (which is why I was hoping for a peaceful resolution yesterday)

About the only clue we have is.that.Grim... is no longer blocked which may indicate a number of things. Unfortunately his ability is rather useless even when unblocked.

Thinking on, I just want to survive this.

So [vote:saturnalian]. No real reason man - it's just that you're not me.

I'd suggest that the talkies gang up on the non-talkies. After we get Kovs first cause he's still dodgy, ain't he? People seem to think he is, I see, which verifies it for me.

Well why don't we stop voting for the day and try and get a written agreement in here from everyone to not carry out any night actions? Whoever carried out last nights kill either didn't read the whole thread yesterday or did and didn't care.
Either the person with the kill role is mafia, is a serial killer or is a townie who maybe doesn't realise they are doing the killing? (That sounds a bit mad though).
So, the potential win conditions. We have survive, and craster stated that was his as well. That suggest that we could safely gamble one nights activities on the mafia team all having that condition.
A serial killer. If there is one, their win condition could be to kill x amount of people so stopping killing wouldn't benefit them, but a group agreement to not carry out a night activity should prove the existence or not of a serial killer. If they don't exist, the game should be over.
If its a townie unwittingly doing the killing, they should also pay attention to this.

Every player should post in this thread acknowledging they have read this. For tonight, we should agree not to carry out any night activity (perhaps even message trooper to that effect to end the night sooner.) if everyone has the win condition survive, we all survive and therefore all win. If we get that acknowledgment from each Person, we should then all vote for a non vote.

I'm ok with that, all things told.

I wont even furtively push any buttons.
