Obviously, the opposite of an ID card, is no ID card.

This thread was nearly called "Mr Chris and his magical pants" for no reason other than it sounded good.

Thats just the absence of an ID card. The opposite would be a card that makes it *harder* for people to know who you are.

Speaking of which:

Imagine we are playing Articulate at a cottage with our friends and it is about 8pm and we are not that drunk, and you are all me, and I'll, briefly, for the purposes of this anecdote, pretend to be MrsA*. The turn begins and I turn over the first card:

"He should be in cluedo but he isn't!" <triumphant smile> <variations on this theme follow>

First to guess in thirty seconds wins a prize.

I think that second example should have been "what's the opposite of light", but you're still wrong.

Because by your reasoning anything that doesn't involve an ID card, even "a note from my mum", would be the opposite to an ID card because there is an absence of an ID card. Which is clearly silly.

Yes, to celebrate, I'm watching youtube videos from something called DEFCON CONFERENCE that is about Hackers and they are NICE PEOPLE REALLY. And MrsA called me up form Buxton to talk about "meal options for guests" at half past nine. It was a short conversation.

Further to this story in this weeks Popbitch:

Quote:
"Plenty of staff have been looting
BBC Television Centre, but Vernon
Kay's attempts to take several
dressing room signs were so blatant
during Graham Norton's BBC Three
chat show that he was escorted away".

It wasn't "several". He was allegedly found with SEVENTEEN!

You do realise that wearing a red shirt at a BEEX meet is like wearing a red shirt on the Starship Enterprise?

Remember, if they ask what you biggest achievement at your previous job was, answer "pissing in their tea every day for 5 years without them noticing".

And good luck!

I find that I work best at short notice. It kind of focuses the mind a bit more and doesn't give you time to make stuff up or dwell too much.

You'll do just fine!

Cheers. I have to tune a couple of my answers to indicate my experience with certain things, as I have realised I haven't been making myself clear at times.

Other than that, it is "MaliA talks about MaliA for an hour" which I quite enjoy. Half day off work, trip over the dale, home by half three for tea and medals.

You may or may not have noticed that I post less during the day now.

This is because the forum is dying and I wish it dead.

LOL, jk. Of course not. It is in fact due to me being moved to the main campus and having work to do. FFS.

So, just in case you were worried; I'm fine.

I hope it's throughsilver, otherwise they'll never have the strength needed to lift a treasure map of that size on to the boat.
