Who will furnish us with deeds of his derring do now he has gone? or write his politically charged yet warmly received memoir "I was right all along"? But hark! A traveller approaches! maybe they know some more..?

Clearly not. BTEC from the Bard' College (formerly polytechnic) no doubt. Useless story telling. more concerned with himself than weaving the rich tapestry of the much mourned mayor.

I'm glad to see the back of the mayor to be honest, his policy of raising taxes on dentists has made it hard to find one for miles around. There must be one around somewhere though

Heh, I never did much care for the So Solid Crew.

Hi. I'm Bill. How are you doing? Pretty bad I imagine after a tragedy like this, it's a difficult thing for us all to go through and I imagine there will be difficult times ahead, grieving is never an easy process for anyone, regardless of how well you knew our beloved mayor personally.

So, who are you anyway? Do you have a story to tell?

Me? Well, I guess you could call me a writer as such, not that I've been published yet, I just need the right story to come along. As macabre as it may seem, this town seems like the time and place for inspiration to strike. So tell me people, let us know who you are, maybe the muse will hit me?
Do you have a tale of love and sacrifice? Or a good comedy? Or even a story with a bear in it? People love those I think.
Maybe I should just write what I know... Maybe... Not now. Not yet. But I'm not sure, people might like it... Maybe...

Talk to me, give me inspiration, I want to know your stories.

I'll tell you hisstory. His story is about the radical transformation about the y-axis I suffered. It is a fairly short story, taking about sixty seconds, and tells how he came to be the Mayor of Settlementtown. He spent his post birth formative years living on the western side of a town called Philadelphia. He enjoyed very much being with his friends and lazing about. Occasionally, he would go to his place of education and indulge in some sport. Sadly,, some hoodlums started to do the same thing, and there was an altercation of some sorts. Maternal instinct meant his mother had no choice but to send him to Settlement town in a particularly malodorous taxi that one could smell from a while away. Even the pendant hanging from the rear view device could not help. It was in the evening when he arrived, bidding goodbye to the carriage driver and making a snide remark about the cleanliness of the conveyance. It was then he got his first glance of his kingdom he had finally arrived in, to sit behind the desk and administrate.

That does seem to be clutching at straws a little !

Are we going to actually get enough people to vote today to get someone out ?

Day ends at 8:00 tonight but that can be an awkward time to get people available I think we need to look at things 'ending' around 17:00 or so tonight so we're tight on time.

Goodness me, this is some terrible business. Our poor Mayor!

We seem to have some strangers in our midst; travellers or foreigners or some sort. Those who cannot read or write like the rest of us townsfolk, at least.

However, I'm not sure that's too much of a reason to start getting suspicious of them. Yet...

With no real information to go on, I think I'll wait a little longer and see what other clues might appear

Let's get some conversation going should we.

Do we vote KovacsC, or is this the one time that we shouldn't vote. We really do know nothing at the moment, other than who each of us is and that there are 4 vanilla townies in total.
I would really love to hear more people's stories before I decide whether to vote or not. I suspect I will be voting KovacsC unless someone can convince me otherwise?

Oh no a dead mayor.

So only 4 of us are good?

I can only assume this means there are a minimum of 4 VT?

Also, I can't believe our Beloved mayor has bitten the dust, fortunately his best friend Goddess Jazzy J is around, maybe she knows something?

Yes in the rules thread

4 vanilla townies does not equal only 4 good people. What a strange thing to think, tell us more KovacsC.

I don't know more than what is in the rule thread.

That's not true, you know who you are. Why do you think only the vanilla townies are good?

Quote from the rule thread

Quote:
Guys and gals, this game has more potential than any previous one for people to bend the rules or cheat. Please don't do this.

Thanks!

The only role you start off knowing for sure is this:

4 Vanilla Townies.
Sucks to be you.

I'll update the roles in here as they are discovered.

So all we know for sure that there are a definitive 4 good guys. Might be more, who knows.

Well, I think that makes it pretty certain you aren't a good power role. So you are either a vanilla townie or a bad power role.
